I've been to Kitty's several times this year and the food is very good. Nothing fancy and very affordable. We especially love the Guinness beer batter fried fish and chips and the shepards pie. The specials are good and so are the desserts. Certain evenings there is live music. Definitely a go to place and they are open year round... More

been there more than several times, lunch and dinner. usually I have the sheppards pie which is fantastic this is definitely not frozen and heated. don't tell the owner but I swear the bartenders are heavy on the pour with great drinks. the entertainment is fun and collaborative. The service personnel are professional but still have personality. A great choice... More

Went with friends for burgers and fries. Cooked to perfection.!! Nicely decorated and comfortable. It was crowded but people were not crammed next to each other. You can bring your family or go out for drinks.

This is the perfect place to escape the crowds in town and still have amazing food! There is so much more than the traditional Irish food on this menu. This place has it all with great food, service, bar & entertainment with pool tables and TV's everywhere. The price range is perfect and the portion sizes are huge so make... More

For an enjoyable and inexpensive night try Kitty's Tuesday's $ 5.00 burger night. It's a crazy, busy, noisy pub on Tuesdays with lots of kids running around & playing pool with their dad's as they wait for their big handmade burgers & fries. Things are little quieter in the downstairs part of restaurant. They even take reservations! Overall this is... More

My husband and I tried Kitty's the first night we stayed on the island last month - and we are so glad we did. Loved the ambiance and warm greeting we received upon arrival. We were sat right away and had the most friendly and knowledgeable server. For dinner we started with the Irish Nachos - home made Irish style... More

After some very high-priced meals, which were often mediocre at best, Kitty's was recommended to us by our innkeeper who eats there herself. Was she ever right! The hostess and servers were great with us as well as our daughter and the food was the real deal. Even if one doesn't like Irish food, there is something here for everyone... More

Visited with a couple of friends and we each had a drink and shared some Irish nachos (think potato skins instead of tortilla chips) and fish and chips. The food was fresh, tasted good and while there are a lot of TVs in the place, it wasn't so loud that you had to shout at each other. Our waiter was... More

Please don't let the fact that this is an Irish pub, and that you may not LOVE Irish food, discourage you from trying this place. We had the tuna tartar (amazing), mussels (so tasty my 5 year old asked for another plate), steak (my husband is in the financial world and eats at steak houses monthly ... and was impressed)... Kitty Murtagh's has an interesting menu that blends the best of Irish pub food with a Nantucket flair. Guinness Battered Fish & Chips are a good example, and of course they've got the obligatory Shepherd's Pie and Bangers & Mash. Steakhouse fries with Madras curry sauce are delicious, though a bit overpriced given the small portion for $8. Irish nachos... More
