I've gone to Verona several times and I always find myself a little disappointed. Their food is ok (eatable), but always seems like it could be a little more flavorful. And the service is even more lacking. Whether I'm phoning in an order or there to pick one up, they always rush you through the process whether they're busy or... More

We have taken out here a few times and it is consistently very good. It is you basic pizza place so nothing outstanding about it, but we liked it and would go back.

this is a great little family owned pizza and sub place. The sandwiches and pizza are all good, and the service is great

This restaurant has been run by the same crew for the past ten years or so, I'd estimate. They recognize my wife's voice and know to include extra sauce with the calzone. Pizza, calzones, salads and subs (OK, we call them "grinders") are all just excellent. We've never had an issue because the food is consistently good. Can't miss!

by far the best pizza in ayer. its so quick and easy plus all the other things on their menu are great from the calzones that burst with cheese to the club sandwiches. never had anything take more than 10 minutes to be ready. the owners are great guys and their prices are perfect.

We are now regulars at Verona, at least weekly. Why? Great subs (every kind you can imagine except I wish they made westerns for a late breakfast on weekends), fair prices and they care very much about their customers because they are family owned and operated. Their restaurant is their top priority in life so they truly appreciate their customers... More

The pizza from this place is my favorite I've ever eaten. The Calzones are amazing also. The staff is very friendly, and the restaurant is very clean. A very good choice for anyone wanting some good pizza in or around ayer mass!

Meatballs in sub were the costco-style 500 pack frozen variety. Sub seemed small & didnt have on it what I ordered. 1975 decor, very clean, and had pleasant staff. My friend's Italian coldcut sub was small & skimpy on toppings. Barely average food in a clean, dated friendly atmosphere.
