The Colonel Blackinton Inn is located in Attleboro, MA and I believe it to be a hidden "jewel!" It is a spectacularly restored colonial home converted to a restaurant and a bed and breakfast. In the warmer weather they extend dining to a beautifully landscaped patio (live entertainment on specific evenings). Also quite beautiful during the holiday with the outdoor... More

If you love historical novels, buildings, and homes, then the Colonel Blackington Inn is for you too! The dining rooms are full of historical architecture, paintings, and furnishings. What is also lovely is the real linen table cloths and fine china served on them. I started my meal with clams casino - one of my favorite appetizers. The stuffing was... More

Service was warm and attentive without being intrusive. Second only to the food. Four of us - all had separate apps salad mains and desserts. Every single bite was perfection. Generous pours of wine. Atmosphere was inviting. Lovely rooms with intimate feel. Will absolutely visit again

An excellent fine dining experience. From the valet parking to the greeting at the reception desk to the long time experience waiters and waitresses - the Colonel Blackinton Inn is exceptional in everyway. Tony Canova has trained his staff and kitchen to produce nothing but the best food, service and experience. For some, the higher prices to receive this type... More

We have been to the Colonel Blackinton many times for dinner, most recently this week. The food is consistently great, along with the service. The inside is beautiful with several small rooms, making it quiet pretty much where ever you eat. The menu includes many choices of entrees, including pasta, meat, seafood most of which include a salad, starch and... More

The Colonel Blackinton Inn serves a fantastic Sunday Brunch. Made to order and cooked in front of you. We went several times have not ever been disappointed. This is a class act.

I so badly wanted to love this place since it is so close to where we live but we left a bit let down. The atmosphere of the restaurant itself was more kitschy Greek revival than true historic colonial. The food was decent and I would eat there again but I wasn't blown away by the main courses, that being... More

Just didn't seem like they "showed up" for our dinner. Do you ever get that feeling? Friends raved about it, reviews are good and you are expecting a great meal and then? Meh. Victorian charm but not cozy, friendly waiter who was a bit forgetful, appetizers and entries that sounded excellent but were just ok. And my potatoes were tepid,... More

This old world atmosphere inn is charming but you pay for it. The finest European style stall and high end dining experience. Had a veal chop stuffed with lobster which was unforgettable. Both classic and exotic food choices. Try the soups. Bisque was extraordinary bring your wallet but you get what you pay for at this elegant dining establishment
