We went on a Monday night for dinner and the entertainment. There was 8 of us. We sat outside in a garden type area. It is definitely a pleasant setting on a nice evening. It also isn't as noisy. The only drawback to outside is when they light the torches it smells. The entertainment was a Frank Sinatra sound alike.... More

The food was very good, not exceptional, but still very good. The service was excellent and well-timed, but our waiter looked sloppy. The salads were fresh and well portioned. The filet of beef was perfectly cooked. Some of the fish dishes on the menu seem like they have way too much going on with them. Maybe less is more? The... More

Group of 7 met there for a family get together. Charming place. Food was excellent and we explored the gamut. Took awhile to get our food which bothered our host more than it did me. Would definitely return.

The food is good not over the top, expensive and it's an old inn nicely decorated but it's open dining with several small rooms. If you don't speak softly you will be heard. It's average age is, let's say older. It's slow service so don't be in a rush. White table cloths. A bit stuff for my taste.

We like to support historic venues, and the Blackinton Inn is in a lovely and charming old coaching inn, obviously renovated at great expense. Undoubtedly that has created quite a bit of pressure to earn a reasonable profit on investment. Having said that, we were disappointed in a dinner meal, which we found to be very expensive, at or above... More

The inn is absolutely beautiful and so romantic. The service is always great. I live for the bread, and you can't go wrong with any pasta or seafood dish. The chicken arragosta is also scrumptious. Desserts are delectable. We will be back here again and again.

The Blackington Inn is about as close as you can come to finding a diamond in the rough. The combination of charm, elegance and history are extremely appealing. The dining areas are quaint, clean, comfortable and clean. The Inn is at its best around the Christmas season, it's absolutely beautiful. The carriage house is ideal for small to mid sized... More

Tony and Kim Canova have done an amazing job with the Inn. The rooms are lovely, the carriage house is great for parties, and the restaurant has a wonderful ambiance. The wait staff is very friendly and helpful. They know the menu very well and can assist you in making your choices if you wish. The entrees, as well as... More

Enjoy an elegant evening at The col. Blackiington Inn. From the time that you drop off your car for valet parking until you pick it back up for your drive home, your dining experience is exquisite. The initial greeting by the staff at the desk, Kim always seems to be greeting us, is welcoming as into their home. The waitstaff,... More
