On a cold and windy November day, the colcannon soup (the main course for two of us) blended the taste of leeks, potatoes, kale and other ingredients perfectly. The meatloaf (veal, pork and beef) with mashed potatoes and gravy, chosen by the third member, was hearty, nutritious and filling. Our appetizer, the three-cheese board, presented the cheeses at the right... More

I really enjoy going to Stone's...especially in the winter. The fireplace just makes it a cozy environment that makes you want to stay a while and enjoy the friendliness of the place. Food is good. I also got to experience the Sunday Brunch here while attending an anniversary party. It was delicious!! French toast was amazing.

I'm really on a 3.5. Food is really good! The only issue I had with my small plate, was the "smallness" of the plate, because my 3 lamb chops on a sweet potato hash, were REALLY everything you want in chops! Not a dish on the table was shabby, and our server Dave, took EVERY order without writing them down!... More

We used to go here often, but we realized that we could only enjoy it mid-week, as on the weekends it is overpopulated with small children and in some cases their over indulgent parents. We understand and appreciate the situation, and have no problem with them being there, its just not what we want when we go out to dine.... More

Visited Stones on a Saturday night, after making a 7:30 reservation. I'm very happy to say that with some changes to the place since my last visit, it was still fantastic! The service was great and the food, in my opinion, is now even better. I'm not sure how reviewers on here can complain that the menu needs to change.... More

Stones is by far my favorite place to eat in Ashland. Great food, awesome service and a nice atmosphere both for adults and families. When I have guests visit this is our go to place, and my kids ask to go here over Friendly's (any parent knows that's a compliment) the prices are reasonable and they have a good beer... More

This place is my go-to and I live very near. Food is always great, and the drinks as well. My only complaint is that the menu has NEVER changed. Drink menu has NEVER changed. It shows laziness on behalf of management and it would be nice to see seasonal additions, especially around the holidays, or something unexpected. There's never time... More

We had another great meal at Stone's Public House for a dinner out with friends... the restaurant is very nice but not fancy, and there is a cozy dining room and inviting bar room with a large fireplace and high top tables. The calaimari app is good, and the corned beef sandwich with gruyere is outstanding. My wife enjoyed the... More

We like sitting at the table with all of the games because who doesn't enjoy a few drinks with some obscure board games. The food is good bar fare but executed well.
