Good breakfast spot

A good breakfast spot, always busy and food is good. Staff is friendly and been a fixture in Ashland for many years.

Friendly, casual restaurant that is the area's go to place for breakfast. Large breakfast menu and great coffee. Reasonably priced. They also have a great lunch menu.

Every choice this restaurant makes is for lower quality: bland bread, frozen sausage, Lipton tea bag, plastic plates that allowed the easy-over eggs to cool before arriving at the table. The prices customer's pay would be the same if better food had been offered.

This is our favorite breakfast and brunch spot in town. The service is always with a smile, the food is delicious, and it's good value for money.

Prices have gone up, not as clean as it use to be and slow service. Won't be going back so quick. Disappointed that a local price, quick to get to is just average.

Food is average. It's not very hard to mess up simple breakfast fare. Coffee is weak. Staff is indifferent.

A long time favorite of ours from when we used to live in there area. I figured I haven't been there in 10 years it probably wouldn't be as good as I remember. Totally wrong, just as good a ever. It looks like a classic diner type restaurant inside with just a very large dining room where everyone eats together.... More

We stop here every year on our way to Maine from Syracuse, NY. Love the Irish Benedict! Lots of great daily specials too. Big portions that fill us up for the rest of our trip.

Great diner-style breakfast and a few fancier items on the special board. Being from the south, I appreciate that they have decent sausage gravy and biscuits on the menu, and they will let you order one on the side if you want so I can get my fix. If I could convince them to serve grits and butter, we'd be... More

My wife and I greatly enjoy breakfast at the Sunnyside Cafe. My only complaint is that counter seating in the back is a little uncomfortable because the tables are positioned so closely. And to the regulars whose corner spots we apparently took yesterday morning...sorry.
