Il for no ashland has been closed for more than six months. There is a new business opening soon called the ashland cafe.

We tried the new location of Il Forno (after having moved from Westborough) and rest assured, still the same great food. We had been to the Westborough location several times and really enjoyed the food and experience. Finally got to to the new location. It was a Tuesday night and very quite as far as customers goes, but the food... More

My first visit to Il Forno was pleasant. We ordered some pizza, a soup, and some basic meals. The pizza and soup was excellent. All the meals were swimming in marinara. Based on the trip, I figured it was worth another shot. The second visit, we figured we would try some of the specials. Huge disappointment. The flavors were flat... More

If your looking for an Italian restaurant away from the hustle and bustle of the Boston this is the one. I would compare it to any Italian restaurant in Boston. I grew up in the north End of Boston , so I know what I'm talkin about. Ya know what I mean? The specials are fantastic, warm garlic bread is... More

I came from Europe and I love Mediterranean cuisine, especcially Italian. Two times (August and November 2011) I was in "Il Forno - Authentic Italian Food" and twice I had back luck. No more! The service was unfriendly and the food below expectation. No, it is NOT authentic italian food. It wasn't "Il Forno" but "Inferno". I recommend Il Forno's... More

Be sure to come hungry or bring your friends. The portions are so large it's impossible to order for just two. And the BYOB aspect is the best. You can't beat the value for great tasting italian.

Having ordered takeout for lunch and finding their sandwiches to be pretty good, we took the family out to dinner there as a change from the usual steak places. The dining area was homey and understated. We were seated at a table along a wall which forced one of our party to be squashed up against a fire extinguisher. They... More

We have visited Il Forno's in Ashland and Leominster-yum! We love the fact it is a BYOB and they do not charge you for pouring. The food is very good and plentiful and the wait staff is excellent. Fun place to eat!
