Loved it! GREAT Russian tea cookies

Just stopped by for coffee and a little bite to eat. We loved the service, the ambience -- as my wife said, it doesn't try to be charming, it really is. Nothing fake, nothing overdone here. Just a down home Massachusetts hill town eatery. Everything we had was superb. Wish we could go again today!

Earlier this spring we drove 45 minutes to come here just because I was sick of our local sugar shack. First impression of Elmer's was: it's charming, and busy. My husband's order included a pancake. I am not normally a fan of pancakes. At all. Spongy and oversweet, I just usually can't stomach them at all. But I decided to... More

Extremely poor service. After waiting way too long to be acknowledged, one of us placed the food order at the counter, then after waiting way too long - again - we had to ask the server to come to the table to take our beverage order and to wipe it down. Great pancakes if you don't mind eating them dry... More

The food here was certainly good, but would have liked more information about sourcing--besides the hamburger there was nothing about what farms they buy from, and I chose this restaurant because it was listed on the Edible Berkshires website. Also, there was ice in the root beer float, which seemed odd. I mean, there's ice cream in it, so why... More

I was traveling to Fall River, MA on the 20th and had heard about this place from Gretchen, the woman who bakes for them (we grew up in the same town and I just had to go by to get the treats she used to make in her own bakery back home!) We scooted in just a few minutes before... More

I can't get a bad meal at Elmer's and I've visited enough times to know. My favorites - pancakes for breakfast, including the gluten free! SO good with fruit compote, pecans, or chocolate chips. All of the bread is fresh and home made, so if you like good toast, order here. I appreciate, too, the extensive and excellent coffee, hot... More

Locally made granola, locally made yogurt, add some fresh fruit and an awesome cup of tea and for this Conway girl, it's a perfect breakfast. My husband went the way of eggs, homemade English muffin, local sausage and some great griddle potatoes. His hot chocolate hit the spot, too. It is fun to place your order then wander around finding... More

Took a friend visiting from Nicaragua on a tour of the Hilltowns. Stopped for breakfast at this local restaurant. Unfortunately we had to wait over an hour for our breakfast of basic eggs and pancakes. Food once served was average and overpriced. Restaurant was noisy. Waitress was sympathetic said cook had been away and was not up to speed. Coffee... More

took a group of 14 women to Elmee's this week for breakfast. All were pleased--one saying it was the best pancake she had ever eaten. One woman was delighted to find gluten free blueberry pancakes--and loved them. As for me, the Pops's Benedict wS once again delicious. A must!

An unexpected and very pleasant discovery. Just passing through and we stopped for coffee. Friendly staff, lots of yummy home baking as well as local art and music. Excellent all round.
