Locally made granola, locally made yogurt, add some fresh fruit and an awesome cup of tea and for this Conway girl, it's a perfect breakfast. My husband went the way of eggs, homemade English muffin, local sausage and some great griddle potatoes. His hot chocolate hit the spot, too. It is fun to place your order then wander around finding... More

Took a friend visiting from Nicaragua on a tour of the Hilltowns. Stopped for breakfast at this local restaurant. Unfortunately we had to wait over an hour for our breakfast of basic eggs and pancakes. Food once served was average and overpriced. Restaurant was noisy. Waitress was sympathetic said cook had been away and was not up to speed. Coffee... More

took a group of 14 women to Elmee's this week for breakfast. All were pleased--one saying it was the best pancake she had ever eaten. One woman was delighted to find gluten free blueberry pancakes--and loved them. As for me, the Pops's Benedict wS once again delicious. A must!

An unexpected and very pleasant discovery. Just passing through and we stopped for coffee. Friendly staff, lots of yummy home baking as well as local art and music. Excellent all round.

Ashfield is a small town almost set back in time, which is a good thing. This old country store has a relaxed atmosphere with a small made to order menu. The menu may not be huge but everything on it looks tasty. The girl at the counter was great, very helpful and friendly. I would like to come back for... More

Elmer's has a cult following, which is partly deserved. The breakfast and lunch food is uncreative, but high quality and well prepared. There are few "industrial" ingredients. Great value for money. Much of it is made there, and locally sourced. That said, dinner is often a disappointment, probably because they rarely serve it. Service can be spotty, sometimes prompt and... More

Elmer's is a hidden gem in the hilltowns of Franklin County. Enjoy having breakfast here, once in a while if the main chef is away some breakfast items come out ok (cold homefries or burnt, very runny scrambled eggs). Never been

Elmer's is a fun place with lots of art exhibited and quirky little gifts and new agey books for sale. The baked goods looked nice, although I didn't have any. What I did have was the pulled pork which was very dry and didn't look or taste fresh. I was hungry so I ate. The greens that went with it... More
