What does creative casual cuisine mean? Exactly what it says. We"re creative, because we reject the same-old-same-old in favor of tastes that are interesting and unique. We're casual because while our food may be worth getting dressed up for, we invite you to come as you are. We're all about cuisine in the sense that our chefs apply high standards of culinary art. There it is. Creative. Casual. Cuisine. If it sounds like your kind of place, then you – like us- are not your average Joe.

A big plus of this restaurant was that the menu accommodates not only vegetarians but also vegans. There are many gluten free choices. But nothing in our groups choices was above average. In my opinion, the lettuce wraps were below. Our server, Anna, was quite wonderful however and no one cared when we lingered over dessert to talk. Unfortunately the... More

This is one of our go to places where we like to sit at the bar, have tini's and tasty food. It's a nice family or large group restaurant as we have done that as well. We love the bread and oil/cheese mixture they offer with drinks...we either go for that or dessert...it's a hard choice sometimes! Their seasonal menu... More

Joe's is our favorite restaurant when home. We are seniors and usually eat mid afternoon because we like the size of the portions on the lunch menu. They are more than enough for us. We have always loved the food at Joe's and the fact that they have great seasonal specials.. If you join their birthday club you get a... More

It can get to be quite noisy eating here but if you are okay with that you should enjoy the good food, drink and service. Respectable menu with enough good choices without being a short novel. I find that a well thought out menu usually equates to very good food. Not Your Average Joe's proves this point.

I love the new renovations at NYAJ's in Arlington. Defiintely brought this one up a notch. We can always expect a good meal, good service, and happy family. The take out is a little slow. The car hop doesn't work too well (you need to call when you arrive out back because their camera doesn't work well. But if you... More

Just got off bike trail in Arlington for lunch. I had an amazing lunch of freshly grilled balsamic salmon. I was offered 2 sides and loved the mix of snap peas and asparagus. My favorite though was the couscous succatash! I did not know there would be pieces of bacon in it but it was so good I just pulled... More

I only tried their jambalaya and meat loaf but both food was great! Not too salty or not too greasy. However there was this once when the waiter never asked me for a refill. Then i finally could get my soda refilled but he never apologized for his laziness. Food wise 5 stars, but service wise, 3 stars.

The title says it all! When one starts off with a martini glass that arrives 1/3 empty, the stage has been set. Tried questioning our waiter whose understanding and English seemed to get worse at that point. :-/ Really a rip off. Wine was a good pour but pricy at $11.50 a glass for a house Merlot. Food is ok.... More
