Just a Nice Update...

I reviewed this restaurant last year, and was quite satisfied with the experience. Well, nothing has changed except my menu choice. This time is was the Scallops Florentine. Very nicely prepared, good sized portion, and the key word... delicious. The other three at the table had Surf/turf... read more

My wife and I stopped by for Sunday lunch driving from Worcester. She had a salmon en casserole and I had a marinated strip steak. Both were superb. The steak medium was just right and with the marinade, needed no steak sauce. Was greeted by the bartender who was most helpful aiding handicapped people in and our server, John L,... More

My family moved nearby and we decided to try this place since it looked packed all the time. Well now I understand why. Not only is the food delicious, the staff are lovely and great. I’ve been there twice now and wouldn’t hesitate to return, although the wait on the weekends is long, it is totally worth it. We’ve tried... More

We come here every now and then to sit at the bar and eat. The bartenders are great - I suggest the chicken teriyaki - can't go wrong. It can be crowded at times, many of the locals come here - especially 5:00 - 7:00.

We usually dine here when visiting my brother and his wife. A long-time family favorite...serving the best beef in the area as well as fish and seafood...Chicken and pasta dishes. The waitstaff are quite seasoned and very professional...they know their stuff. I normally order the salmon with their special rice ( includes spinach) and a Greek salad...delicious dressing. My husband... More

Jimmy's is a staple in Arlington. Menu seldom changes, quality is always very good and consistent. Tough to get a bad meal here. Still has an excellent reputation and atmosphere.

Been here many times and the food and staff were outstanding....today our waitress was rude/uninterested and only seemed pleasant when she gave us the check. Appetizer was good, zucchini sticks (another waitress delivered). Food was not hot, both meals tasted like they had been under the warmer for too long. Host and hostess had no personality and we (one of... More

I used to come here YEARS ago, back in the late 80s when I was in college and it was always great. The food is still GOOD but not particularly memorable. This last time I had the prime rib/stuffed shrimp combo. The shrimp were very tasty and the meat was good but somehow lacked beef flavor. Not bad mind you... More

I absolutely love Jimmy's Steer House. I've been going for 35 years and you can always get a great meal. The service is fantastic and the food is great. Something for everyone. My favorite is the lobster casserole with chunks of lobster meat. Sometimes the wait can be awhile but the turnover of customers are pretty quick! Enjoy!

We ordered steak tips and stuffed shrimp. The waitress was pleasant and brought bread and butter while we were waiting. Most of the crowd was over 60, and it was obvious that many of them had been coming to Jimmy's for years. Our food was well-cooked and arrived fairly quickly. The menu is not very creative or updated, but Jimmy's... More
