Bar and Appetizers

Let me start by saying that this was our first time here and honestly did not intend on going here, but were walking around the area and it looked inviting. We sat at the bar and they had a musician and singer in the restaurant, so we ordered a couple of drinks and appetizers. The bartender was... read more

We are always looking for something different in the area so Argentinian looked inviting. Gabriel, our bartender, explained the menu and our stop for a drink went to a full blown dining experience. An app, a couple of glasses of wine, and then salmon and skirt steak entrees had us asking why we hadn't been here before. Gabriel kept us... More

Having eaten in Argentinian restaurants in the US and in Puerto Rico, I always have ordered steak...invariably done wonderfully. However, my wife and I and our friends tried the lamb chops. Absolutely the best I have ever eaten.

We were quite happy with our steaks, which were cooked perfectly to order, but what we really liked were the unusual sides and salads. The Tango Fries were like super thick potato chips fried to be crispy on the outside, but moist on the inside. Unique and delicious. Also, they have an orange, beet and blue cheese salad that we... Tango is a family owned Argentinean steak house located in Arlington Center. The food is good, the atmosphere is cozy, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The food is wholesome and tasty. For appetizers we had the empanadas and the baby lamb chop. Both were really delicious. For main course we of course chose steaks, their specialty. We had... More

Surprisingly crowded for a stormy night, but special menu food was delish. The only issue we had was that the bartender was overwhelmed and our drinks took longer than expected. Waiter explained and was appropriately apologetic. Have been before and would definitely return.

I've been here a few times. Its nice to have a good steak in town that isn't a chain. The meat cuts are very tasty, the empanadas are authentic and the atmosphere nice. It can get a bit noisy in there on a weekend night. I highly recommend it over your typical chain, but the prices are a few dollars... More

.. But no more. One bad experience has had a lingering effect on my interest in the restaurant. My wife and I took her son, a restaurant manager and cook, for an anniversary dinner. The place was understaffed (a Monday holiday that they weren't prepared for) and the service as disappointing at the steaks. Since there are other options nearby,... More

I would love to love Tango. The guys who own it are soooo nice and gracious. We cannot live without a freezer supply of their delicous and very authentic Argentinean Beef Empanadas (not the other varieties.) But it is a very limited and repetetive menu of varying proteins on a plate of "Meat, potatoes, Green Beans and Carrrots" and Chimichurri,... More
