My go-to place for challah, muffins, scones, and croissants

This bakery has such delicious items -- especially check out their mini-scones and mini-muffins. For birthdays, I've gotten adorable cupcakes. not only do they make some of the best cookies rver, the owners also are civic minded, donating their cookies to non-profit orgabizations as well to political gatherings.

They have been in Arlington for a long time. At the holidays there are lines out the door. The cookies are really, really good. Cooks Illustrated did an article on their cookies (Florentines). Everywhere I bring them, people rave and love them. They even have gluten-free options......

Lakota Bakery has the best cookies ever! If you love Macaroons and other types of cookies this is the only place to go. They are made right in the back of the store so they are always fresh. They do not take credit cards so be sure you have cash with you.

Not really a restaurant, but a large selection of divinely yummy cookies. They also make several varieties of cakes upon request. It's dangerous for me to walk by here. My 95 year old aunt just loved the chocolate cake with raspberry between the layers. Said it was the best birthday cake she'd ever had, and at 95, that's saying a... More

The best cookies, anywhere, hands down. Rich and buttery, every flavor shines. When Springsteen comes to town, He requests that a platter of Lakota cookies is backstage. I also understand that the shop made one of Obama's birthday cakes, after the last election!

I am so lucky to live less than a mile from here. The cookies are never less than fresh, and there's such an amazing variety. My problem is deciding which cookie to get. They have a very friendly staff, and when there's a line out the door (i.e. Christmas Eve) it is the most cheerful group of customers ever. Cookies... More

I have tried every cookie from this place and the are all excellent. Very high butter content. The cookies are beautiful and the perfect size. My favorites are the orange chocolate chip and the linzers.

These are the best bakery cookies I have had in a long time! So many varieties - we've tried the toffee chip, peanut butter, snickerdoodle, Florentines, lemon cream, butterscotch, strawberry linzer, chocolate ginger, and ginger molasses. All have been fantastic! Cookies are $1.50 each.

As soon as you open the door, you are hit by the most wonderful smell - butter, sugar, chocolate... all rolled together! There are lots of cookie choices and, since I pretty much bought one of each, I can say, unequivocally that these are some of the best cookies I have ever eaten. You can taste the fresh ingredients with... More
