I found the restaurant from this page and made the reservation on their web page. We've been there last saturday. Everything was really great. Foods, music, wine all were perfect. BOVIN Aleksander Red wine was "number 1". It has lots of rewards as far as we were informed. This was the best wine that I've ever tasted, I don't even... More

We read Trip advisor and went to Skopski Merak and it's beyond our expectations! Everything we had from starters to the dessert was awesome. We ordered sashlik and grilled calamari ,all were perfectly cooked. The waiter was really professional and kind. The selection of local wines definetely recommended. Funny that the wines are cheaper in there than duty free :)... More

My title says it all. This place is that good. This is a Macedonian inclined restaurant, with a music band and loud patrons. It can be noisy. I had two dinners and then an early lunch before my flight out. The pot roast is excellent and highly recommended. That's heavy, especially as you will need a salad. If you want... More

This place has everything a visitor to Skopje could want. Traditional local food, a live traditional band and amazing service. Highly recommend to everyone who comes to town

We wandered into this restaurant not knowing it was rated #1 on tripadvisor. At first glacé we thought, "this looks fancy". Fancy it was but at a bargain price. We went 3 times each time ordering the burger plus a different item. The burger was incredible! For 250 Macedonian monies it was a steal! It didn't have a bun. Instead... More

My boyfriend stumbled upon this place while wandering around our hotel and were so impressed! At first we thought it wouldnt fit our backpacker budget as the atmosphere is quite nice..but we took a peek at the menu and couldnt believe it! We sat down and the food did not disappoint! We tried the 4-cheese macedonian pizza, the burger "shopski... More

We chose the restaurant based on trip advisor reviews, it is a ca. 20 minute walk west of Skopje centre. The "pizza" was delicious but the meat stew was rather more average Good service, nice ambience & live music. Overall not any better than many Skopje restaurants like la Tana so not quite sure why it is #1

Good atmosphere and nice food... u can find good traditional macedonian food and wine. Service was not very good and professional and they can work about that, but overall good restaurant.

Not having any other plans for my husband's name-day, we went out to "Skopski merak" with two other couples and it turned out to be the best celebration ever! The food and the service were excellent, as expected, and the atmosphere was awesome! There was a very good band playing live music, and their repertoire was so well-chosen that all... More
