Good Food and Great Service

Here for a business dinner with about 15 people recently. They took our drink orders very quickly and our food orders as well, they brought all appetizers and the main course in a very timely manner so that no one had to wait for the others to get their food. Also very attentive in refilling our... read more

We had been to Palmer's many years ago and it did not disappoint this time around. The waitress was outstanding. She was patient and more than willing to accommodate my grandchildren. We ate in the upstairs dining room which could use some update. It is a nice space but rather dark. However the décor did not interfere with our delicious... More

My boss and I go to Palmer's ever few months for lunch for two reasons: They have outdoor seating when the weather cooperates and the food is usually very good. We went yesterday and felt totally ripped off. She got the salad with shrimp, goat cheese and a few other things, her usual order. I ordered the special salad which... More

There is nothing to complain about here - outdoor seating, fresh food that serves a variety of tastes, bartenders who know how to mix a cocktail and pour beer, live music, and much more!

Nice 'pub' atmosphere that we miss from the UK. Also has decent food menu and live music. It was nice and busy when we went on a Friday night and the live music was good.

A nice dining experience, a little overpriced and tables were a bit close but the service was very good and the meals well prepared and presented.

We had a business dinner on a Wednesday evening in this place which was more or less empty when we arrived at 18.00. The waitress was nice and managed to serve us in a friendly and descrete way during the whole dinner. The food was good and tasty, but nothing extraordinary, and the wine list contained some good choices at... More

We have been patrons of Palmer's Restaurant for well over a decade, going there for romantic dinners for 2, small family meals, and a few large celebrations with pre- planned menus. The food is always delicious, well-presented. The staff is loyal, accommodating, with many staff members there for many years, forming relationships with long-time patrons. The prices are not low... This is not a rap on the quality of the restaurant, honestly, I couldn't tell you, and here's why. 10 years ago after the birth of my first son, I had a $50 gift certificate to Palmer's. Our only babysitter, my Mother-in-law, wasn't available until 2 days after the certificate expired. I called and spoke with the owner to explain... More

Attended a sit down dinner with my family on Friday night. We were seated upstairs. The party included five adults (one that has trouble on stairs and uses a walker) and two toddlers. Again I'm puzzled with what Palmers is trying to be? Is it an afterwork bar and hangout spot with pub food and a band? Or is it... More
