This is my favorite local spot due to the consistency in their food. The menu is creative and changes quite frequently. The food is prepared expertly and is very healthy. You don't leave feeling regretful or bloated. The wine list is great and I always enjoy the wine flights and they just added beer flights which I was excited to... More

Came here with a friend who had been before. It was nice to be able to sit outdoors. The seating area is right on the main street for downtown Andover...so expect the expected "city" sounds. The hostess who sat us was very friendly. The sitting area is pretty comfortable, but I found the seat I was in to be on... More

We enjoyed our meal, and the younger crowd out front seemed pleased with the loud and crowded bar scene there. Casual diners (such as ourselves) are consigned to the oddly-configured rear of the restaurant, where the lighting is poor and the busy kitchen flagrantly present. Brasserie 28 had the architectural challenge of squeezing into a former clothing store space, so... More

A talented chef, creative cuisine, and fresh local seasonal ingredients make this a go-to place for excellent dining, even for people who live beyond the borders of this historic, New England prep school town. Having spent a good deal of time in France, I'm continually impressed by the well-executed Mediterranean flare.

Nice seasonal menu that always offers something new. Have come here with friends who love it so much they eat here a few times a week. I have had the burger special once and the steak dish the last time. My husband has had the fish dishes both times and enjoyed them immensely. Ate with large group last time and... More

Nothing worse that spending a lot of money on a meal and leaving hungry - That can happen here. While the dishes are expertly prepared and stunning to look at, the amount of food you get for your dollar is way below acceptable. I ordered a featured scallop entree dish and it came with one large scallop in the dish.... More

I have been a regular customer of the Brasserie 28 since opening day. The restaurant welcomes you with a socially fun front sidewalk patio (in the warm season) and a sparkling social atmosphere in the front entrance of the restaurant. High top tables and rubbing elbows lends for making new acquaintances. Walk on past the bar area of the restaurant... More

This is our favorite restaurant in Andover and we have been here numerous times over the past few years. The portions are small (which I like), but the food is always excellent. We prefer a small portion of great food which is a better value than a large plate of mediocre food at a lower price in our opinion. Because... More

I am a regular at Brasserie 28 and it is consistently good. The beer, wine, and drink choices are constantly changing as is the menu. You can do a salad and flatbread, entrée, cheese plate, or have the best burger in town. Matt is a really inventive chef. The portions are on the smaller side, but they should be. Some... More

Only restaurant in Andover/N. Andover that I would give 5 stars for food and experience. Nice bar also. Try the Hendricks gin and tonic with lime and mint.
