Hidden Gem in Andover

We needed to find a late lunch spot in Andover before a meeting and found this hidden gem through a Google search. The worst part of our late lunch was the parking! Ended up after driving around at the pay lot a block away. My husband and I are not familiar with the area, so I think that was part... read more

We went here for a business dinner on a Wednesday evening. Reservations are definitely needed due to the small size of the restaurant. We were a party of eight, so they had set a special table for us. When we arrived it was pretty quiet, but in very little time the whole place was bustling and filled. The food was... More

I finally had a chance to go to Yella for my birthday and it was delicious - as good as I had hoped it would be. The service was great - the restaurant is small and it fills so it can feel a bit tight but it didn't bother us. We had the crispy melanzane and grilled octopus to start,... More

We have been to Yella's many times and always have been thrilled with the food and service. Everything on their menu is delicious! True mediterranean flavors...The restaurant is small but very cozy so it is best to make reservations. Some of my favorite dishes on the menu are crab cakes, crispy melanzane napolean and the pan seared scallops. My daughter... More

I finally went to Yella and was looking forward to really good food but was disappointed in the favors of the food. It looks nice inside, is small and therefore noisy and the food was OK but not good enough for me to want to go back sadly.

Great food. Nice service. Everything was fresh and original. I highly recommend this place. They have well thought out combos blending European and Lebanese food styles. Very very tasty!

This is a tiny place (c.10 tables) on a tiny side street in Andover. But the good is great middle eastern. I love their kibbi! I recommend reservations to be sure you get seated.

The food at Yella was very well prepared when I visited about a month back but I just recently went back and found the food was very different. This time the chicken was overcooked and very salty, I almost asked if there was a new chef because the food seemed to be very different to me and was not what... More

Four of us enjoyed dinner at Yella as an early New Year treat- two first timers and my wife and I who enjoyed it once before. We each ordered very different things and were Exceptionally happy. The chef owner is Lebanese, and be prepared to enjoy quite different spices and wonderfully subtle favors. For a special night of Mediteranian food,... More

My husband and I decided to branch out last night and try Yella, a new-ish place that opened at the site of the late, great, and lamented Cassis. I had to laugh out loud to see that it is ranked #2 in Andover. I guess that is what happens when there are no places to eat in the northern burbs... More
