Yella, which means “Come On, Let’s Go” in Lebanese, is a Modern Mediterranean Grille located in the heart of downtown Andover. Chef Carlo Berdahn and his wife Danielle together co-own the picturesque bistro, bringing a new and fresh dining option to the Merrimack Valley. The intimate space and updated décor provide a warm and relaxed atmosphere, while its crisp linens and open layout give the dining room a comfortable and inviting setting. Lebanese inspired, these beautifully plated dishes remain true to the hearty traditions of regional cooking; warm soups, dark lentils, subtle teasing spices, velvety risotto, crispy pan seared fish, succulent lamb and delectable desserts. Great Mid eastern food, fresh and delicious. Love the chicken kebabs and stacked tomato, mozzarella and eggplant appetizer. Small space so reservations recommended.

Yella is my go to place. the food is lovingly prepared and always delicious. My fav are the chicken wings (don't laugh. they are amazing). love the flat bread pizzas too. the scallops are a must have. family owned. you'll feel special every time you eat at Yella.

Had checked out their menu online prior to going. When we arrived the menu they presented to us was absolutely nothing like the online menu. Disappointed. There were six of us and we all ended up having some type of appetizer rather than a meal as we couldn't find anything on the menu that appealed to us. The service was... More

Love the hummus with ground beef and the Lamb Kabob is tasty for sure. But the overall sense is that most of the food seems to be either store bought or just not as fresh as it could be. But a credit to them for making mostly great meals anyway.

I have been to this restaurant a few times for lunch and was looking forward to going with my husband and another couple for dinner. I had read mixed reviews but that didn't affect me. However I was extremely disappointed. Our reservation was for 8:15pm we arrived promptly but had to wait another 20 minutes for our table. The restaurant... More

Always a treat. Four of us met for lunch at Yella - two of us yearning for the Mediterranean Chicken. We had two amazing appetizers, the crispy eggplant and the hummous with garlic, beef, and pine nuts. Both plates were wiped clean since we still had some amazingly fresh pita bread left when we were done. Then came the Mediterranean... More

Yella is very true to it's roots with traditional meditteranean food. It is hidden from the hustle and bustle of the main street of andover which makes it a nice retreat. The food is good, the staff is always nice and their wine selection is quite good. I highly recommend their ice tea if you are looking for a non-alcoholic... More

Food is average, drinks and food are expensive, ambiance is non-existent. Go there to "be noticed", but not to enjoy a good meal.

Who knew this little gem was hidden down this little street! Nice atmosphere inside...very inviting and pleasant. They also have outdoor seating in season. Service was excellent. We asked lots of questions and the server didn't bat an eye at our special dietary requirements. The lamb sliders were our favorite! So tasty and different. I also enjoyed a fattoush salad... More
