Was passing though Amherst and went to the Pub (haven't been there in ten years) and all was the same. It's a typical college town college bar with good pub food. Sat outside as it was a sunny day and my wife & I had our dog with us. The service was friendly and prompt, the food was hot and... More

I had the French Dip w/ string fries. I was not an overly salty taste... And I was pleased overall. However, the Ruben ordered by my date, showed very fatty and using his words "inedible". I knew I would be posting a review and convinced him to i form waitress. Many apologies were given and the sandwich was taken off... More

Stopped by w/ my adult daughters to show them one of my college haunts - The Pub. Gone are the days of $2 Pub Mug nights and sticky floors, now its known primarily for its good food as well as good beer selection. I had the clam strips which were some of the best I've ever had and the girls... More

This is your typical bar in a college town. It can get really crowded over the weekends, but a nice place to hang out if you're a student.

First visit to this restaurant and hopefully not my last. Visited my brother and his wife and had a very quiet, relaxing lunch. We never felt rushed. Meal was very good. Service was GREAT. Waitress did a fabulous job. She was attentive and helpful. When I asked for extra avocado on my hamburger, she provided a serving of sliced and... More

Stopped here on my first trip to Amherst. Food not great, booths not clean (dust on backs), only positive was the bar area and the wait staff. Venture to the center of town for better choices. Pete

What this place lacks in ambiance it makes up for with the quality of the food. The stuffed chicken breast was absolutely amazing, and the quantity of food was more than fair for the price. There is some outdoor seating, and some TV's inside. If you are in Amherst staying at the campus hotel, this is one of the closest... More

If you are a college kid with no expectations of excellence in food and service, then this might be the place for you. This is the second time in the past few months we have given this place a shot. After watching the staff "clean" the table by squirting what looked liked windex on a dirty towel and then wiping... More

This is one of our favorite places to eat comfort food. We go here several times a month. Fast, fun & lots of good dishes.
