Went in with my family to get some pastries for the ride home. The pastries looked wonderful and were pretty good but nothing super special. They were VERY expensive. The atmosphere of the place is nice on the inside. It was very busy when we went and it was quite a long wait. I will go back but for more... More

This place was very friendly, but also very plain. Food was okay. Nothing special. I ordered a club sandwich, bread was tough but not hard. Turkey was dry, and lettuce and tomato were limited. The sandwich needed more dressing or mayonnaise to make it tasty. My son ordered 1/2 a buffalo chicken sandwich. Which I thought would be plenty even... More

If you are looking for a yummy sandwich or salad for lunch, even for a group of people for take out, this place will make you fresh, healthy and delicious eats on the go or to sit down there. From coffee to sandwiches, salads to sweets, they have it all and you feel good to eat their food. It's honest... More

Popped in here for some iced tea and cookies after visiting the Emily Dickinson Museum just down the street. Cookies were totally yum. FYI: They have some vegan and gluten free options. The atmosphere was great - easy going, granola-head. No A/C though it was a hot day. I didn't mind, but it was unexpected. The sandwich menu looks fantastic.... More

This is the quintessential coffeeshop in a college town--funky yet terrific food and coffee, with a hippy flair. Live blues music every Wednesday evening and Country and Blues every Sunday morning. Terrific sandwiches (if you are poor or a saver, the half sandwiches are half price and almost as large as a whole), but all prices are reasonable. Day-old baked... More

Had a Smokin' Joe sandwich and added turkey. Very fresh and very delicious. Gorgeous day so sat outside and listened to the music on the commons for the town festival. Great place to stop for a bite.

Sitting in, it is noisy and crowded -- not many seats available during its busier hours. To go, it is great, the choices and ingredients are excellent. I recommend this over many if not all others in Amherst.

What a great place to get food of any kind. They cater to all; vegans, vegetarians, meat eaters, gluten free, just about everybody. The food is all from scratch, made right in their kitchens. I LOVE their brownies, and wish I could make them even close to as good as they make them. We always use them for functions we... More

Run by a Hampshire College grad where the only drug sold is caffeine (have to go to the college itself for anything stronger). Great coffee, great bakery. Day old baked goods are half-priced for those of us who are not college students and therefore have to use our own credit cards. There is music Friday evenings, and Sunday mornings from... More
