Whenever I have a chance I stop at the market at Atkins Corner. Fruits and vegetables are always fresh and are the lowest priced in the area. The nearby condos and assisted living at Applewood draw many buyers to the prepared food and salad bars and it may be the reason why costs are kept at a very reasonable level.... More

Fruits, prepared foods, bakery, ice creamery, home-style atmosphere. A place to shop, meet friends, pick up some groceries. What's not to like?

This has grown from a relatively small market to something that is more like a local supermarket. But, in the growth it has not lost the focus on quality. Here you can find just about anything you might want in the way of food. The local-made cider donuts are quite excellent (year round), but especially nice in the fall when... More

Western Massachusetts is where autumn was invented, I'm pretty sure. Sitting out by Atkins with the leaves turning copper and gold around you and eating an apple cider donut and picking up your pumpkins is a really great experience. Would definitely recommend if you're in the area.

Famous for their donuts. You can do your grocery shopping combined with lunch. Get a sandwich at the deli counter or just coffee and donuts. Excellent selection of produce in a cheerful atmosphere.

Love their fresh local eggs, local (frozen) chicken pot pie, lasagna Florentine, mint chocolate cake as well as their own cider and cider donuts of course.

For the best variety of produce in the area, we make our Saturday run every week. It used to have the best butchers as well, but that is no longer the case. Roasted chickens are still very good. The deli is truly worth a weekly visit as there are many well-made and fresh prepared dinners. Chicken parm, meat loaf, lasagna... More
