This my second time here. First time I got the chicken breast in mole. This time I got Pechuge de Pollo with is much better. Very fresh tasting. Good salsa selection including limes. Good view and outdoor dining right on the Amherst green.

The food was good, but not outstanding. It is reasonably priced and the portions are generous. The flan was quite good.

Having lived my entire life in a predominantly Hispanic city, I know my Mexican food. The food here is definitely Mexican, but in the worst possible way. The first, and certainly last time, I went I ordered a chicken quesadilla and two tamales. Being away from home at school one of the foods I most missed were tamales, so I... More

We went to the Big Brothers/Big Sisters craft show, and as we both enjoy Mexican and it was right across the street we checked it out. The menu is all on the board above the counter, they obviously make everything fresh, and the ingredients seem and taste authentic. My burrito especial was quite good, full of rice, beans, and grilled... More

Great quality food for cheap! Nice location in the center of town. Wish there was more variety of beverages. Atmosphere a bit dark but overall a very pleasant experience.

The place is relaxed and small. The food is consistently good. I especially like their fish tacos with special sauce. The menu is quite extensive for a small place. Enchiladas are also very good. Have not had a disappointing meal there.

La Veracruzana is a reliable, inexpensive restaurant with authentic Mexican food - as good as any similar restaurant I have eaten in in Mexico. Minimal atmosphere: you order at the counter and pick up your food when your name is called.

Wow... you just have to sit and read it all. Settled on the Enchilada Especial with Choriço. Muy bien! Limited selection of beers, so a Dos Equis Amber was the choice. Their house picante sauce was flavorful, if tuned to Gringo. Meal plus beer and 25% tip: $14 Service prompt, conversation at the counter in English, to the chef in... More

My husband and I stopped here on our trip to Northampton. The food was very good and the prices were extremely reasonable. I'd recommend this restaurant for a quick lunch in casual surroundings. We'll definitely be back.
