I am giving this place a rating of 10/10 for the food. This a small restaurant but the food is great. I enjoyed my chicken mole and the chicken was juicy and tender with just perfect spices. Please call to reserve if you have more than 5 people going as a group for them to set the table. Highly recommended!

Substandard and suspect food, bottom shelf tasting margarita served in a pint glass. Two of my family members didn't feel well afterwards. I spent the night sick as a dog in the hotel we stayed at. 24 hours later I'm not sure if I'll make work tomorrow. I should have read the reviews more dilegently, broken teeth, mystery pieces of... They take it to another level. This is not your plate of rice and beans drowned in melted cheese. Fresh, fresh, fresh and delicious. The chips and salsa, with three great salsa's will let you know you are in for a treat. Margarita's are great too. Not a sicky sweet mix but homemade and delicious. The Three Tacos entree is... We showed up on a Saturday at 3:45p and were surprised to find that there was a 20 minute wait. Someone was there immediately to take our drink order. 15 minutes later, someone was there to bring us to our table. Our server was waiting for us and took our order. Great burritos and tacos! Great margaritas! The staff were... More

I don't really understand the negative reviews of this place. Coming from NYC, I didn't have super high expectations, but the tacos and the margaritas are delicious. I've been here in small and large groups and it is always really good! Definitely try this place!

Coming from the west coast, no Mexican food in a small town on the east coast holds much promise for me. So, I have no criticism of the Mission Cantina food because I had no expectations. If you don't mind waiting a long long time, go ahead and wait and eat their unexceptional food. What needs to be considered by... More

I ate at The Mission Cantina last evening with my nephew and his young (23 months) son. It was my third visit there and it was every bit as enjoyable as the previous two. The food is fresh and well-prepared. The service is excellent. All of us had a wonderful meal - the 23 month-old included!
