Caliente Margaritas are worth the wait

As other's have mentioned, the menu is limited but the food is fresh and delicious. We're lucky to have a glut of excellent Mexican restaurants in the Valley, and what really sets Mission Cantina apart from the rest is the drink menu & bar options. The caliente margaritas (made with jalapeno pepper... read more

This place is popular amongst the college crowd because it's a step up from what they heat up in there dorm microwave's. Terrible service tasteless food ! don't get hustled into the chips and salsa scam they pull for 9$ I would avoid this place if you want real Mexican .

Mission Cantina has the best tacos in the valley, hands down. I can never decide between the brisket, carnitas, rajas, and crispy fish - all are incredible. Don't miss the unique salsa trio and freshest chips in town. If you're lucky, they will have pozole; despite its permanent spot on the menu it's rarely available (disappointing). Margaritas and other cocktails... More

We'd heard nothing but good things about this restaurant and we were not disappointed. Everything was very authentic, served quickly and reasonably priced. The jalapeno appetizer was delicious and my first ever fish taco was absolutely wonderful. Definitely recommended!

I am front the West Coast and a bit of a Mexican food snob, and it is hard to find dishes in the Pioneer Valley that can compare. However, Mission Cantina exceeds expectations. Not only is food DELICIOUS, but the price is reasonable. There is a reason the place is always full. It's one of my favorite restaurants in the... More

A great little place that has a reasonably priced menu. Delicious margaritas, lots of fillings to choose from and its the best you'll ever taste!

Beer, awesome queso... We go for lunch. It can be daunting to try to get a seat in the evening. The owner is awesome. We know the staff at lunch and they are knowledgeable. It is all good!

You'll be luck to find a place in their parking lot unless you come early. The popularity of the place apparently stems from its reputation as a moderately priced watering hole. While you are waiting for a table or booth better have a drink, the place will look better and the food may pass as Mexican after a couple. Personally... More

We have eaten here about 6 times in the past year or so. Never disappointed. Food is excellent, reasonably priced, and service is friendly and responsive. Only drawback is that it is so popular that there are long waits at peak times.

This convinces me that folks in the valley will eat anything, hence the abundance of bad restaurants. This stands out as one of the worst. Chile rellenos (which I have eaten often and also cooked (Diane Kennedy is the bible)) was soft and floppy on the outside (the chile) and looked nothing like the firm green jalapenos you can buy...
