Didn't hold much hope for a distilery named "Kaptain Jimmy's" with a 'k' where the employees dress like pirates and the food has weird pirate names like "Blackened Beard Chicken" and "Parrot Wings." Boy were we in for a treat!! The food, so reasonably priced, was mouth watering good, and came with perfectly crispy golden french fries. The staff was... More

First time ordering scallops in my entire life!!! And what a treat it was!! So unusually prepared and delicious!!!! Sauteed in kalamata olives and tomatoes and I ordered spinach in place of potatoes and had to ask for a spoon to finish tasting up with that sauce it was soooo good!! yum!!! Scallops were a speck over done but they... More

The decor is great, costumes are clever, wording on the menu catchy, but that is where the good stuff ends. We ordered a sampler platter for an app, and while the portion was very large, we didn't bother taking it home. No taste, not appealing. Entrees were overpriced, (large) and just not worth it. They seem to do well at... More

Ordered Lobster steak combo for two...lobster water flooded serving plate with the sides and made them all soggy. Steak over cooked...waitress forgot our drinks for 15 minutes. She had a bad attitude. Fought baby flies as they were trying to land on our food....not worth it.

Great bar menu, and large dining area. 2 huge bars with MANY beers to choose from on tap and they distill their own brand of vodka. Food is EXCELLENT and a great variety. Some nights they have specials that make food and a drink a great value, so check before you order. This is a diamond in the rough. Not... More

I had never heard of Kaptain Jimmy's before. I thought it was very good. Since I've been there I've heard mixed reviews, but I think they got off to a poor start. Apparently their menu was originally a little pricey and turned people off. Now they have nice menu which includes a $5.00 meal that you must purchase a beverage... More

Our friends have gone to Kaptain Jimmy's several times and kept asking us to go, so we did. We all ordered the fish and chips and really enjoyed them. As I was glancing at the menu and all the "$5 specials" I kept thinking someone was going to come over and inform us the prices will be increased by $10.... More

I have eaten here twice. The 1st time it was the $5.00 menu on Tuesday and Saturday. I had the thanksgiving pie, dark turkey topped with mashed potato and gravy. It was yummy and the beer I ordered was very large. The second time was not $5.00 night. I ordered the same meal still very delicious but a bit pricey. Friends have... More

Kj's has a very wide variety of independently brewed beers Almost too many to choose from. Food is is standard fare and reasonable. Bar has a mix of live entertainment. We frequent KJ's for apps, Drinks and music. Would recommend for a night out.
