Great Austrian Food

I visited on a weeknight with family and friends, and we all chose Austrian specialties from the menu. The food was excellent and the portions were large. Our table for four was quiet enough for conversation, and we enjoyed the decor (the walls had many pictures of dogs and horses). I thought the... read more

A beautiful charming inn with great Austrian food. Because there was a painting class in the dining room, we ate in the tavern area. Our waitress was friendly and personable and even shared some of the history of the place and was very informative about the menu. We started off with a hot appetizer of different smoked products-bratwurst, knockwurst and... More

Stayed one night , ate dinner and had a wonderful experience. Since we were in a hurry to go somewhere and runniing late, we asked to get our food quick and they accommodated us. Service was fantastic and staff friendly. Food was great too. Loved the old feel of the place and all the old instruments displayed in the breakfast... More

The food was excellent and the staff were very friendly and attentive. They have German beer on tap and Germain cuisine that was delicious.

One of the best European restaurants I have been too in the United States. Visiting children hiking the AT for the weekend; decided to go to this restaurant. Excellent wait staff and the best food. Our party had entrees of veal schnitzel, goulash, chicken paprika and pork shank. All meals were delicious. and reasonably priced. The apple sauerkraut was so... More

We read about it in TripAdvisor. It was highly rated and we decided to try it even though it was more than thirty miles away. What a disappointment! In fairness, service by Meg was very good and the beer was good. But the food was not good at all. Schnitzel left a lot to be desired. Potato pancakes not great.... More

Consistently authentic, homemde from scratch food. Knowledgeable staff, Austrian Wines, fun horse-themed decor. Nice for a special occasion, or just a simple burger in the tavern. A GREAT deal... Adams prices, but high quality food with attention to detail. Many ingredients grown in the garden out back. Don't skip the Black Forest Cake!

Situated in a lovely old house, the atmosphere is cozy, the food is delicious, and good value for money. Pictures of the gorgeous Hafflinger horses are framed on the walls.

Oh my what a wonderful surprise to visit this very special restaurant in Adam, MA. The authentic Austrian dishes were superb. Our server, Carol was a joy and so helpful with suggestions to make our evening perfect. Plenty of parking, an attractive Victorian Inn, great wine list. We made an early reservation, first to arrive, our service was prompt and... More
