We found this place in one of the regional What to do Books. It offered really good food at a great price. It seems a bit off the beaten path for the area but it is definitely worth the trip if you are staying in the Berkshires outside of Adams.

Celebrating a birthday led us to the Haflinger Haus where we enjoyed The wiener schnitzel with fried oysters as an appetizer. Having spent several years living in Munich Germany , the schnitzel brought back pleasant memories. We'll definitely be back

Finally got around to checking this place out last night. Food was fantastic. I had the rack of lamb which was exceptional. My father & husband had chicken dishes that were great as well. We are locals and will definitely be back!

Food is very good; wiener schnitzel is the best. Service can be slow but for an evening out it is well worth it.

The first time I went, I only got a hamburg and that was good. So I decided to go with my husband the next night and i got fish and chips and it looked like frozen fish from Gorton's. There were 3 or 4 small square pieces of fish. Alcoholic drinks were on the high side.

We live in Pittsfield and had been trying to get up here for a few weeks. Unfortunately it was a disappointment. We came early, about 5pm and walked into an empty restaurant. It took a few minutes before anyone acknowledged we were even there. We wanted to sit at the bar but because we had our 5yr old the bartender... More

Dear Challis, We are sorry you feel the way you do. You say it took a few minutes before anyone acknowledged we were... More

I have eaten here a handful of times and each time the food was outstanding. It's something different, yet very food. Don't expect the traditional food menu most restaurants have. I have tried different things each time, and have not been disappointed yet. Drinks were served in a timely fashion and were very tasty. Will definitely be back.

Thought I would give this a try. It's a thus night, one of the three dining rooms seems to be seated almost fully so... More

Dear Yisymail. We are sorry to hear that you were unhappy with the length of time you waited to dine. You mention you dined on a Thursday night and we are wondering, did you make a reservation? You mention only one server was on that nigh, however, we had five servers on that night plus the bartender who covers the... More
