Nice place for breakfast or lunch with lots of local color

Julie's place is great for breakfast or lunch. It gets pretty busy on Sunday mornings - you might have a wait. The servers are friendly. We usually try to sit at the bar stools instead of the tables. They have two TVs on opposite walls so there's always that. There is a lot of local color on the... read more

Good service. Nice people to talk to around. Sense of old time. Good environment for having conversation and relax. No pressure to leave even if you finish your meal. Have unlimited coffee refill and asked for anything else several times, so you are not forgotten. People can wait outside on a cute bench the weather permit, if it's a line... More

We go here often for breakfast. Sometimes there is a small wait to get in but that's because so many like it for breakfast. They have counter and table service. They also serve dinner with beer and wine available but we have only gone there for breakfast and like it. Service is usually quick and the food is good

First they served meat inside a veggie omelette. The reaction from the waitress was worse than having unwanted meat in food. Both the waitresses seemed quite unprofessional. Coffee itself was very sad.. And all this I had to experience first thing in morning.

This is a typical local breakfast spot. The food is OK and the service is reasonable. The food is priced a little too high for more than a rare visit.

We've tried to like this place, but the service is awful. Waitresses treat non-locals like an inconvenience. Food is good, but not worth being treated this way. There are plenty of other options.

I've now been disappointed twice and will not return under any circumstance. Stopped in for an early dinner before taking grandchildren to The Discovery Museum. The service was bad, but not as bad as the food. I took advantage of the "breakfast anytime" and had hash and eggs with homefries. About half of the homefries were inedible - rock hard... More

Good place to stop for a meal and see "townies", casual home style cooking, not fancy but nicely done and waitresses who have worked there from the opening

Julie's serves a decent breakfast at a very reasonable price. Coffee could use an upgrade. There is a very small dining room which can get a little packed in. Service is ok, although I've run into some less friendly waitstaff. In general if I'm in the area and need a convenient place to stop I will; but I wouldn't go... More

A great place for breakfast and lunch/brunch. I almost always have their omelettes while I'm eating there, but the burgers are quite tasty as well!
