What does creative casual cuisine mean? Exactly what it says. We"re creative, because we reject the same-old-same-old in favor of tastes that are interesting and unique. We're casual because while our food may be worth getting dressed up for, we invite you to come as you are. We're all about cuisine in the sense that our chefs apply high standards of culinary art. There it is. Creative. Casual. Cuisine. If it sounds like your kind of place, then you – like us- are not your average Joe.

Great atmosphere, interesting menu & some great food. The focaccia and Romano-olive oil dip was a great beginner - chunks of soft, garlicky focaccia was wonderful. We were touring the Acton, Concord area and stopped into this place. Not knowing it was a chain, we were surprised at the variety of the menu, the prices (good), and the nice ambiance. And the dipping bread with oil and cheese is YUMMY. Wish there was one of these on the west coast!

Another visit to Not Your Average Joe's, another great dinner. We both had the steak tips (awesome!) with the green beans and garlic mashed. I think my favorite bread with oil/cheese is that that is served here. We love coming here, and it was another great visit for us.

In our group of 7, everyone ordered something different and everyone got a unique presentation, not quite what would be expected. Pork was served in medallions with grilled sweet potato. Chicken Picatta was above average. The salads were excellent, and the warm bread with oil was a big hit. Service was very good.

Have been to NYAJ's several times with my family. Good selection of food and brick oven pizza. The bread with dipping oil is great and the staff has always been very friendly.

We have visited many times over the past few years both at lunch and dinner. The food is delicious and with only one exception (an underdone turkey burger) has been carefully prepared. I personally appreciate 2 features especially (1) their salads are really good. Not quite diet food, but fresh vegetables and yummy dressings, not just limp and bruised greens... More

My husband and I enjoy coming here with our young children for a nice dinner out. We usually reserve a table on the early side (5:30p.m.) and the place is usually packed with young families. The servers generally know their mission is to bring food quickly and they usually do. The food is usually tasty though there have been some... More

We decided to try the take-out/car hop service to have a quiet meal on the deck of our house. First problem is that menus change often, so a printed menu is useless- you must go on line and order. That was accomplished, and after entering the credit card info, I was told the conf number and pick-up time. 5 minutes... More

Good is good if you can get it prepared correctly. I personally love the Tomato soup with their bread and dipping oil. The meatloaf is beautiful to look at and even better to eat. The chicken carbonara was good after I had them refire it for undercook chicken. Beware and check your food they really do have problems in the... More

Great variety of food choices, helpful waitstaff, way too tempting and good bread with seasoned oil served before the meal.
