Good Eats

Have been to NYAJ's several times with my family. Good selection of food and brick oven pizza. The bread with dipping oil is great and the staff has always been very friendly.

We have visited many times over the past few years both at lunch and dinner. The food is delicious and with only one exception (an underdone turkey burger) has been carefully prepared. I personally appreciate 2 features especially (1) their salads are really good. Not quite diet food, but fresh vegetables and yummy dressings, not just limp and bruised greens... More

My husband and I enjoy coming here with our young children for a nice dinner out. We usually reserve a table on the early side (5:30p.m.) and the place is usually packed with young families. The servers generally know their mission is to bring food quickly and they usually do. The food is usually tasty though there have been some... More

We decided to try the take-out/car hop service to have a quiet meal on the deck of our house. First problem is that menus change often, so a printed menu is useless- you must go on line and order. That was accomplished, and after entering the credit card info, I was told the conf number and pick-up time. 5 minutes... More

Good is good if you can get it prepared correctly. I personally love the Tomato soup with their bread and dipping oil. The meatloaf is beautiful to look at and even better to eat. The chicken carbonara was good after I had them refire it for undercook chicken. Beware and check your food they really do have problems in the... More

Great variety of food choices, helpful waitstaff, way too tempting and good bread with seasoned oil served before the meal.

Love NYAJ's forever. We called for reservations but still had to wait past our reservation time. Our server remembered us from past visits, and was very helpful and efficient. The food is always right on, and their seasonal selections make it for an unboring experience time after time.

We went on Martini Monday when the martinis are $5.99, oysters are $1.25 and appetizers are half price between 4:00 and 6:00. Service was friendly, and the martinis and oysters were great. My only issue was with errors on the bill. The first time we went we were charged for four martinis instead of three. The second time we were... More

Everyone in your group will likely find something that they like on the huge menu. Service and quality are decent but not stellar. If you are OK with a slightly upscale yet definitely chain restaurant vibe, then you will be happy with this place.

Waited 30 minutes to get seated. Ordered drinks (water, apple juice and one beer). Two people seated next to us, ten minutes after us, are served bread and drinks immediately. Meanwhile...we're still waiting for ours. We ask someone and eventually the water arrives. Five minutes later - the beer. Five minutes after that the juice. Needless to say, I'm done... More
