What does creative casual cuisine mean? Exactly what it says. We"re creative, because we reject the same-old-same-old in favor of tastes that are interesting and unique. We're casual because while our food may be worth getting dressed up for, we invite you to come as you are. We're all about cuisine in the sense that our chefs apply high standards of culinary art. There it is. Creative. Casual. Cuisine. If it sounds like your kind of place, then you – like us- are not your average Joe.

Delicious roasted tomato and mozzarella pizza with added bacon and artichokes. And my wife loved their Sangria. Couldn't have asked for more in terms of service either from when we first walked in the door to the rest of our experience. A real winner!

NYAJs is truly an inviting, eclectic place to have lunch or dinner! The food is terrific (they are known for their bread which is unforgettable when dipped in the olive oil-parmesan-garlic blend provided at every table). They have seasonal menu options as well as old stand-bys like their rosemary skewered scallops & ahi tuna wontons. It's one of few restaurants... More

We ate here for a lunch and found the menu to be really interesting with many dishes. I had the Ahi Tuna Salad and it was really good. Our server was great. She was friendly, prompt and took great care of us. The atmosphere is nice and good for families or business meals.

I have happily gone to NYAJoe's for a long time. Their birthday coupon program is intelligent on their part, reminding me to go there more often for their interesting and changing menu. It is a boisterous and noisy place, with people chatting in families. Not the best place to go for a quiet chat. The bar area is actually a... More

Had dinner here recently with one of their great Birthday coupons. Started out good with reservations made on line (note to mgt - not everyone uses ’texting’ so don’t get rid of all your beepers). The menu keeps changing but never really impressed for our tastes. Clam chowder came warm not hot. Sorry, will never understand why all these restaurants... More

We always have a good time here! It's cozy, the typical NYAJ menu, can accommodate special diets, and it feels generally upbeat. I like the onion soup. The bread is superb, so if you don't want to make it your entire meal--have them take it away early. I find that NYAJ staff are terrific no matter what part of town... More

Well prepared basic food. Bread and oil/cheese dip is great. We had the spicy tuna roll- surprisingly good, and a pizza- brick oven style. Be prepared for lots of active kids in the main dining room. If that's what you have this place is fine, but if you're looking for a mostly adults place you'll find it noisy. I wish... More

NYAJ is an excellent place to eat. I recommend the Chicken Oscar which is not on the menu, but is a dish from the old menu. Includes scallops, shrimp, a large chicken breast along with string beans, mushrooms and mashed potato. Chef will accommodate any reasonable request to satisfy any dietary concern. Quantities are generous.
