Best strawberry soup I have ever had. It was worth the visit alone. One entree was foul tasting and we mentioned it to the waiter. The response was, yeah, we get this comment regularly. Apparently the dish requires an acquired taste or it is simply a bad recipe...

Roz, given the details of your review, I am honestly surprised at your 4 star rating. I would be very happy to receive more information about the entree that was unappealing, what it was, and what the nature of its foul taste was. There is no way that any of this is acceptable, and most definitely should never, ever happen... More

We took our friend to Sprigs for her birthday and she loved the restaurant. Our waitress could not have been more accommodating. Wonderful menu, food was excellent, drinks were wonderful, bartender was very friendly. The owner came over to make sure everything was ok. Desserts to die for. A little pricey, but definitely worth the money. I have been there... More

Love, love, love this place. Have eaten here for every important family celebration, since they opened a few years ago. Great food, lovely owners, terrific and creative presentation, nice atmosphere.

We have returned to Acton after a 5 year absence and this place is just as good as it was when we left. This is our third visit in the last 6 months and each time it was terrific. The service is good and the people are pleasant. The food is creative but not crazy.

We had a family dinner at Sprigs and everyone in the party was happy with their meal. The appetizers, desert and main courses were great. The chef was willing to pay attention to lactose free for several guests and all were comfortable with the arrangements. The restaurant is quiet and fun.

I've enjoyed eating at sprigs but their selection is limited for none meat eaters - one time I had asked for the sauce on the side and the waitress wasn't sure if the cook would agree -they did. I've liked them more in the past but I feel like the service is going down hill. Seating in the main area... More

Lisa, thank you for your feedback. Regarding the tables in the middle room, please feel free to request a table in the main dining room. I can't ever make a guarantee that you will get the table/room you request, but I do always take requests seriously, and do the best I can to accommodate requests. Regarding the service going downhill,... More

Maybe from the outside Sprigs does not look fancy but we truly enjoyed the entire evening. Comfortable, quiet dining room. Great service. Appetizer mussels were fresh and tasty together with a glass of proseco. And sorbet to clear the palate! The cod and boar chops were both excellent main courses. For dessert the creme brule was a bit too liquid... More

food is good and so is service. I have 2 complaints though. The chicken under a brick is arguably the signature dish. They should bring back mashed potatoes. the main dining area is not well ventilated. I always feel the area to be hot/stuffy by the time I am well into my meal.

Thank you for your review, Tunedown2d. One of your complaints is easier to address than the other. I will mention to my husband, our chef, your wish for the return of the mashed potatoes. Regarding the restaurant being hot and stuffy, unfortunately, we have a very old system, and the temperature does tend to be erratic. We are getting the... More

Sprigs is one of the better restaurants in the area. It is pricy, but, worth it. The menu is limited with enough choices to make anyone happy. They also have a decent wine list.
