Level specializes in small bites and great tastes. There are one-of-a-kind designer cocktails and a wide variety of locally sourced menu items. The flatbreads are especially good. And if you think you don't like Brussels sprouts, you owe it to yourself to give their preparation a try. It's real treat! Often very busy, so reservations recommended. One of the best... More

the restaurant features handcrafted cocktails ($12-13) and "small" plates featuring cheeses, pork, etc., from Maryland and Virginia farms. For a person dining alone, one plate at a time is advised, as they are really designed to be shared. The cocktail, flatbread, and dessert I had were good, and the wait staff was attentive. One problem with the front dining room... More

It is my second visit at level, downtown Annapolis, MD. I think it is a really nice restaurant, with fantastic food, really good wine and a great vibe. The plates are really original and festive food. The spicy tuna tartare melts in your mouth, scallops are seared to perfection, shrimps with bacon and grits are a very nice match, and the... More

After traveling and eating our way through more than 10 states on our trip, we had met our match on more than one occasion with the 'generous' sized portions in this country. The idea of small plates sounded great. The design and layout of the menu is intelligent, fun and simple and the dishes themselves are delicious with some really... More

We visited Level with friends from Annapolis and had a nice meal. They serve small plates and we all had 2; a starter and a main dish. Salmon was excellent as was the flat bread. the wine list is not extensive, but there is something for everyone. Only downside was the front room that we were in was fairly loud.... More

Portions are actually decent sized. We ordered two items each and still had leftovers. The pumpkin flatbread was incredible. Service was great.

The atmosphere is very nice, the restaurant is broken up into discreet seating areas and has a very comfortable vibe. The service was excellent, the staff was very friendly and welcoming, and the food was phenomenal. The shrimp and grits and pork tacos were excellent. There is a bar happy hour from 5 to 7, with reduced price drinks and... More

An associate and I were looking for a place to eat Sunday night while in Annapolis on business. Level was very busy for a Sunday night (a good sign) so we decided to sit at the bar. We were impressed right away with the friendly and knowledgeable bartenders and craft cocktail vibe. Both of us had a 360 Gimlet which... More

Visiting Annapolis and Level was recommended as a place that would allow us to bring our own wine provided we pay a corkage fee. The menu looked good so we gave it a try. We tried a number of small plates that we could share. We especially enjoyed the octopus and the taco dish. Our server was studying to be... More

tasty tapas, tuna stack was well flavored and fresh, deep fried brussels sprouts needed a bit more cooking or possibly a blanch before deep frying, but the flavor was nice. would return
