Trendy is all!

Not that the food was bad, it was ok. The drinks are over priced for Annapolis in my opinion. New York prices without the New York atmosphere. Much better options when in Annapolis. The staff however was nice which lessened the blow of my disappointment.

I have heard and read much about Level. I looked forward to my visit there.Sometimes a restaurant sits too long on its reputation. Sometimes a restaurant is overwhelmed by its own popularity. As for the details of my dinner; the waitress was pushy, we ordered drinks, and when we asked for some time to order dinner she made it quite... More

We were staying at a B&B for the night and wanted to try Level for dinner. I read the TA reviews and thought it sounded interesting. We were seated immediately and the place was hopping even at 6pm. We both ordered a bourbonapolis drink and it was fantastic. I ordered the brussel sprouts and they were not to my liking... More

Nice decor, great looking menu. We ordered four plates and three were disappointing. Cold gnocchi, undercooked brussels, shrimp & grits with way too much "heat". Service was good, however one drink order was not done to instructions, and the server brought it anyway while acknowledging he knew it was not done correctly, but of course blaming the bartender all the... Visited the place with a couple of friends and was impressed with the creative menu and pleasant atmosphere. The menu features a lot of local items and the taste was good. A couple of minor disappointments were the cold draft from the door and the slight sogginess of the flatbread special of the day. Other than that a great spot... More

One of my wife's favs. Small plates. Inventive with food. Home made drinks, including non alcoholic ginger ale.

My son took us to level for my birthday dinner. He had been there several times, but for us, it was our first visit. Any place that has Woodford Reserve Bourbon starts off good in my estimation...and the generous pours were a surprise! We enjoyed the small plate menu...tried several different dishes. The cheese plate was very enjoyable - several... More

Quite frankly I thought this place was a pure disaster. Let's start with the help I can't call them anything but that. Rude, surley, unhelpful, unimaginative and were clearly out feeling as if Sunday was their day of rest. Wine and beer selections were simply pitiful. I am all for sustainability and buying ito the green and market and artisan... More

Came for dinner with group of 4 friends. The food is delicious and unique nouveau-american. While prices aren't cheap, portions are generous. We thoroughly enjoyed pumpkin flatbread, brussel sprouts, butcher steak, kale/chorizo, butternut squash salad. Really LOVED the 360 Gimlet cocktail, yummy!

Level has a unique way of combining ingredients to create amazing dishes. This is the right place to go to try something you may have avoided in the past - because it will be prepared in ways you might not expect. They have seasonal items, so the menu changes. The unique cocktails are out of this world. The food is... More
