Dinner with business colleagues

I ate here with four business colleagues one evening. Arrived with no reservation so had to eat in the bar, which was a shame as the restaurant looked good. But the food was the same and really good. Excellent beer too and good value for money.

We stopped by to have a drink after walking around town for a few hours. The restaurant has a bar area in the basement. My husband ordered a coffee. I ordered a French Coffee. (Think of Irish coffee with Grand Marnier instead of Jamesons.) The bar maid brought my husband's coffee (without cream or sugar). My French Coffee consisted of... More

We came here for our anniversary and loved it. The upstairs restaurant was quiet and mostly empty, which surprised us (I think we went on a Saturday at 6pm). Our server was prompt and polite, and the food tasted delicious. Because it was a special night for us, they treated us to dessert and even wrote on the plate in... More

On this cold & snowy evening we ended up grabbing a bite to eat at Reynolds, which is close to where we are staying here in Annapolis. Both of us ordered "comfort food" - my wife opted for shepard's pie and I ordered fish and chips. While the entrees were more than amply sized and tasted OK, we both felt... More

Four of us visited for lunch on Sunday and came away with mixed reviews. The location and setting were nice but the food was a bit more hit or miss. The Bacon Mac and Cheese appetizer was delicious, as was the tomato bisque. We enjoyed the nice variety of teas as well. My friends were satisfied but not delighted with... More

Reynolds Tavern has a great location, which brings in customers, but the quality ends there. I have been to Reynolds before and I though I would give them another try. Wrong move. When I went there for lunch with family members we waited 45 minutes beyond the reservation time to be seated and it took the waiter 1 hour to... More

Had lunch here during a recess at the courthouse across the street. there was a delightful lunch menu in addition to the usual upscale tea-room offerings. Portobello mushroom wrap was a medley of fresh and freshly-cooked vegetables. It was delightful. For those looking for a tea-room experience, this is perfect and has the larges tea menu I've ever seen.

The tea here was amazing! There are two pages of choices. My husband and I were also pleasantly surprised to find that we could have different meals - I could have my tea, scone, and finger sandwiches and Mike could have a sandwich and fries. We also had great service, with the waitress always double checking to see if we... More

This is in the heart of the historic area. We ate in the main level dining room, food was home made and delicious. Desserts were scrumptious. Great tea selections. Servers were attentive and professional. This is a must stop if in the area. Value is excellent.

Wife and I only visited the basement bar and it had a great atmosphere. The beer was terrific as we sat next to a blazing fire. A very good memory.
