Quaint and cozy with a lot of history!

After taking the ghost tour on our last visit, we decided to eat at the tavern to see if we could conjure the ghost. The ghost was no-show, but the food and the ambience were delightful! Simple, well prepared tavern food, with warm, friendly, knowledgeable service. We can't wait to go back and try... read more

I visited Reynolds Tavern while on business in Annapolis and had a wonderful lunch. Located in a historic location with loads of charm in the decor. Our server was very prompt and took great detail in explaining the specials on the menu. I am returning to the area next week and will return.

The setting and ambiance of this restaurant is definitely the highlight. The historical building made for a very nice dinner. We enjoyed the scallops, crab cakes and shepherds pie at our table along with soups and salads before hand. The food was very good and the service was timely as well. I would describe this as a more traditional restaurant... More

This restaurant is located in the historic part of Annapolis. I have eaten here many times and enjoyed tea and scones and small sandwiches. The quiche is pretty good, too. The service is ok. The highlight of this restaurant is the historic building/setting and beautiful unique china that they serve tea in.

The historic area of Annapolis features many restaurants. I decided to choose the oldest. It was like walking into the 1700's! The decor was all pre revolutionary war period. The painting of George Washington seemed like he was watching me eat! I ordered the Shepard Pie with a pot of Darjeeling tea. The food was very good and it was... More

Food is fantastic, served in the historic cellar tavern circa 1747, or outside in the beautiful courtyard. Love the scallops and risotto ! Also, the crab dip with crostini bread ! Great selection of beer . We have also stayed in the inn in the past and they serve a fantastic breakfast !

Hearty American/English food. So delicious. And that baked brie?? Changed my opinion on brie FOREVER. It was incredible. I haven't had anything like it since. Worth getting as an appetizer, but beware: it takes some time for it to come to the table since they bake them to order, so if you're in a hurry, I wouldn't get it.

Nice place to get away from the touristy crowds for a drink and read some important Americans' opinions on things! Nice beer list as well as basic bar food.
