Head to the Boatyard!

Had a great late lunch at the Boatyard Bar and Grill. Hands down - best old bay wings in town. The crab cakes were great and I really liked the pasta salad. We splurged with the Smith Island cake - but it was well worth the calories! We'll return!

My wife and I joined six other boating friends for dinner mid-week at a very casual restaurant, Boatyard Bar and Grill. Our group shared numerous appetizers before our entrees; crab and artichoke dip, chicken tenders, calamari and crab balls. All were very good and served very hot, not warm or cool as sometimes is the case. I had half a... More

Went on a Monday evening in August. Server was efficient. One of us had the Big Fat Scallops and loved it! Scallops were huge and perfect, accompanied by asparagus that was well cooked, garnished with won ton chips (we think). That selection was $22 and would easily lure us back to the restaurant. I, on the other hand, went for... More

Recommended by Urban Adventures guide as a great local seafood restaurant - spot on! Our group of four couples was seated in minutes & served quickly & with a smile. Atmosphere was a little loud, but seafood was tremendous! All soups were big hits, especially the Ying & Yang mixing the two crab soups in one bowl. Seafood lasagna (not... More

The Boatyard is worth the walk from downtown Annapolis for its versatile menu, fresh tasty food , fun but tasteful decor and good service. The menu is seafood-centric, of course, but also offers brisket and burgers as well as a few vegetarian and gluten free options. Salads were very fresh and the housemade ranch dressing was delicious. A variety of... More

We visited with a family member who recently moved to Annapolis, he took us as this is one of their favorite places to go. We had great service during a very busy lunch. The food was fresh and quick. We tried the just caught oysters from the bay for appetizers, and enjoyed the fresh fish of the day, Maryland she-crab... More

I went here based on the recommendations. It was amazing. I was in town for work so I went alone. The atmosphere is wonderful! The service was great. The food was amazing. Yes, it's pricey but definitely worth it. I got the rockfish piccata and it was to die for! Also, you must try the Maryland crab soup. I got... More

We walked to the restaurant and saw a small parking lot. We waited to be seated and they use the pager type system. It was a short wait and were seated quickly. The food was very good with homemade dressings. The server was pretty good and most likely has been doing it for a while. The place is busy with... More

I landed @ BWI in the early afternoon on a beautiful Sunday in Summer. What to do? I headed into Annapolis about 30 mins away. First order of business was lunch at the Boatyard. They were busy but I found an open stool at a high top table in the bar. There is no service at those tables, you order... More

My wife and I decided to eat here after our favorite seafood place in Annapolis closed. The food was very good but the high point was the raw bar. The oysters we had were the freshest I have ever eaten. We will definitely be back
