Description: The Boatyard is where local sailors, fishermen and lovers of the Chesapeake enjoy pint drinks, great crab cakes and the freshest local seafood. Specialties include smoked fish of the day (on premise), cream of crab and Maryland crab soups and an extensive list of crab and seafood specialties. The First Lady came from the White House to enjoy our crab cakes. The Boatyard has the most extensive raw bar in the area including a variety of oysters, clams, shrimp and mussels. The Boatyard receives awards for being most family friendly and having the best burger on the Bay. Its weekend brunch is the best in the area. The Boatyard is located in the historic maritime district of Eastport-a short walk or water taxi from Annapolis City Docks. Its photo boat films the local sailing races and shows them nightly. Named by Coastal Living, Sailing World and Sail Magazine as one of world's top sailing/boating restaurants.

We were four for a celebratory lunch but nothing could go right. My son ordered a Coke which was almost pure syrup. My husband and daughter-in-law ordered four different kinds of oysters that were served on one platter. The server was unable to identify which oysters were which kind and explained they all taste pretty much the same. My husband... More

When in town, we always go to the Boatyard for lunch. They have a terrific Cuban Shrimp Salad which is TO DOE FOR!!! It's a very busy place so go with plenty of time especially if it's on the weekend. All the servers practically runs to get your orders done as quickly as possible and to cooks get it right... More

Fabulous menu, excellent food, excellent service. A gem in Eastport just over the bridge from downtown Annapolis. Because it is so good, sometimes there is a wait. For their non-reservation Sunday Brunch, the wait can be 1-1/2 hours...worth it! Bon Appetit!

Always frustrating to have to wait for a table which happens regularly at this place, but the crowds are a testiment to the quality of food. We turn regularly to the Boatyard Bar and Grill for a good seafood meal and occassionally will take our out-of-town friends there if we want to risk waiting for a table.

We had lunch. Excellent cream of crab soup and the beef brisket sandwich which was a daily special was tender and flavorful. Cute decor and prompt service. Only negative is that the chicken tenders were too spicy for a toddler. Flounder BLT was a two thumbs up.

The Boatyard is becoming (or has already become) an institution in Annapolis. Great place for families, excellent food and drinks. If you're there for brunch, the Huevos Ranchero are outstanding. Crabcakes are top notch as well. Haven't had anything there that I wouldn't have again.

The Boatyard is a regular hangout at the bar and a pretty good restaurant. The acoustics however make conversation all but impossible.

Great nautical themed restaurant convenient to downtown Annapolis. One of my favorite breakfast places. Works for locals, tourists, or to do business. Try the breakfast pizza!

Located close to all the boats in Annapolis harbor, this is a very popular place for boaters and locals alike. Good food and atmosphere, but tends to get very noisy.

If you want to meet real Annapolitains, the kind that live and sail out of this beautiful city, then this is the place to go. The Boatyard makes good n' strong drinks, serves delicious crab cakes and has a great roomy and comfortable atmosphere, steps from the marina and water. We love this place and never tire of their food... More
