Specialties include smoked fish of the day (on premise), cream of crab and Maryland crab soups and an extensive list of crab and seafood specialties. The First Lady came from the White House to enjoy our crab cakes. The Boatyard has the most extensive raw bar in the area including a variety of oysters, clams, shrimp and mussels. The Boatyard receives awards for being most family friendly and having the best burger on the Bay. Its weekend brunch is the best in the area. Had a good family dinner here. Was a bit over priced. $11 for 4 coconut shrimp was a bit much. Crab cakes were good, as were the scallops. Service was good as well. As always, parking is a challenge in Annapolis.

We were looking for a "new" restaurant in Annapolis for Sunday brunch and discovered Boatyard Bar & Grill. My husband and I were meeting our son and a friend of his visiting from Connecticut. The three out of four of us (my son's friend is a strict vegetarian) shared very good size, succulent raw oysters on the half shell (Boatyard... More

Visited Boatyard Bar and Grill several times this summer. We were able to walk there from the house we were renting in the Eastport section of Annapolis. Each of us ordered the pizza with our own toppings. The home-made whole wheat crust was amazing! The bar area was lively and energetic. Thoroughly enjoyed our visits!

if you are not into sports bars, and don't like the noise, then pick another place to eat. The place was noisy, and sound travels well from the bar to the restaurant. This is not a romantic spot! The food was so-so, I ordered Open Faced Blue Crab Melt which was served over soggy Ciabatta bread. I finally had to... More

This is a great place to hang out with friends and family. The food was incredible, we started off with the crab balls, which were so good. While it was a bit noisy, I found that it didn't detract from the overall experience. It's a great place to get great good in a fun environment.

We have eaten here for breakfast, lunch and dinner and it is always very good. I took my clients here over a year ago and when they come to Annapolis and the Boatyard is the only place they want to eat! My favorites are the fish and chips, crab cakes and burgers. Prices are really reasonable. The atmosphere is very... More

What a great spot! Started the meal with a sampling of all four types of oysters on the menu..wonderfully fresh, large succulent morsels! Crab cake dinners were excellent and half price bottle of wine (on Tuesday's) was icing on the cake! Great boathouse atmosphere but a bit noisy..conversation was still easy, though. This was our second visit and it was... More

There were five of us for dinner (two thirty somethings, a thirteen year old and two 60 somethings). We were seated well away from the bar which was very noisy but it turns out this small annex room was exceedingly noisy as well. Even our young companions had trouble hearing what was said at our own table. It seemed like... More

Love the breakfast huevos rancheros, lunch and dinner pizza, fish tacos, salads (especially Greek and Soft Crab salads), drinks, atmosphere. It is fairly noisy even when not filled, so hard to talk but always fun, friendly.
