Very Busy

We stopped here for lunch on a Sunday afternoon at 2:00pm after driving from N.C. I was surprised to find a wait of 30 minutes. We were lucky to get a seat at the bar and enjoyed the draft beer and an assortment of oysters which were the best I've ever had. They are a special on Sunday at... read more

We were driving back from sightseeing in area and saw this interesting looking place so stopped in -wow it was busy but we got a table right away and server arrived in short time to inform us of the daily specials. Very impressed with all the local seafood selections especially the oysters. I had the fish tacos which were perfect... More

We visited the Boatyard Bar & Grill for dinner in Annapolis recently, while visiting the Washington DC area on spring break. Found it through Trip Advisor. We saw a couple other places that looked a little fancier and perhaps more expensive but we were looking for something casual and the Boatyard was just about perfect. We had some fried calamari... Very good food and service. Nice beer and oyster selection as well. Keep an eye out for the Lobster Roll, usually only appears on specials menu 1-2 times per week. Nothing not great about this place!

Had a leisurely lunch here on a cold afternoon in early March. At 2 pm, there were a few patrons at the bar and perhaps three table other than ours had people lunching. No loud noise, fast service, terrific food, nautical atmosphere. One of us had the open face blue crab melt, one the blackened tuna salad and I had... More

Like the title says, this place is fantastic! Being from Baltimore where there are a TON of places local to eat and drink I still find myself traveling to Annapolis just to hang out there. Thee food is amazing and the staff is super friendly. I usually sit at the bar area but those with a family the dining area... More

Enjoyed my dinner there for the most part. Bad weather so wasn't crowded. Waitress was nice. Drinks were okay. Crab soup was delicious but not hot. Crab cakes were good but everything I was served was lukewarm. Came out very fast. It was my birthday and they charged me for a scoop of ice-cream. We were a table of 7.... More

The food here is just OK, not great, not special just OK. And for the price you can get a LOT better seafood in Annapolis! The restaurant has long waits not worth the food, it is very loud if you like that sort of atmosphere, can be fun for sure. The crab cakes were WAY oversalted some of worst I... More

The ambiance of Boatyard Bar and Grill is welcoming and fun. Whether you are a local or visitor, you are always made to feel like family. If you are single, the bar scene up front is a great place to rendezvous. If you want quieter surroundings, ask for the tables in the back room. Sunday brunch is excellent and the... More

This location was good and the restaurant was charming but the food was only so-so as was the service. It was also a little pricey.
