Love those crab cakes

After driving around looking for a parking space that allowed more than 2 hours we found one on the street and this restaurant was the closest (it does have some limited parking). The place was not too busy so we easily got a table. We ordered the daily special eastern shore style crab cakes and... read more

The smoked fish of the day never disappoints! Oysters as fresh as Apalachicola and the crab cakes are packed full of crab. They are fresh tasting not greasy. Boatyard has bragging rights!

This is a casual dining, family accessible place. We went with 2 children under 5. It is a bit loud for long conversations, but is a fun place with good food at reasonable prices. I especially like the crab macaroni.

We went on a Friday afternoon for appetizers and drinks. The drinks were strong and the fried oysters were heavily breaded, but still delicious. If you want to experience Chincoteague oysters in Maryland, stop here.

The two of us decided to have lunch in Annapolis and after driving around a few streets, this looked inviting. Despite its name, it doesn't overlook the water. With that said, the atmosphere is quaint and comfortable and did not disappoint. The waitress was attentive and quick. I had the spinach salad w/Mahi Mahi.....mmmm, loved it. My sister had a... The atmosphere and restaurant layout is perfect for any casual dining opportunity. A couple having a seafood dining event or a family having a get together for a reunion the restaurant handles it well. The menu provides selections for all tastes and the food served was excellent as was the service.

This place is a MUST!!! This was a first time visit. There are some tables outside, but they were full. We ended up at the bar. Amber was BEST!!! We started off with the OLD BAY wings, they were a good portion size, served crispy and steaming hot. I had the Crabcake sandwich. Born and raised here in MD, I... More

After spending some time strolling through historic downtown Annapolis, we came here for a casual dinner. The menu was more than adequate where anyone could find something they might enjoy. The food was above average, but not memorable. As I said in the title, service and atmosphere were great. Turkey club sandwich had real sliced turkey but seemed soggy ,... More

The Boatyard Bar & Grill is an attractive place, festooned with trophy fish and nautical accoutrements. Service is prompt. My breakfast was okay, but not great, for the price. I understand that their seafood, notably the oysters, are delicious, but, unfortunately, I didn't partake of them early in the morning! Try them for lunch or dinner instead.
