Irish seafood

Found Galway Bay on Trip Advisor. It is off the wharf area in a residential area. It had a nice decor and a busy server. They have an extensive menu of Irish classics and fresh seafood. After much deliberation I chose a fried oyster appetizer and a main course of liver and onions. The oysters we... read more

We had the fish and chips platter and the fish sandwich. Best fish and chips we ever had. Not expensive. We got a lot of food for the price. A must if you like fish and chips.

If you want to get away from most of the tourist action and get an older crowd - this is the bar you want to visit. Friendly bartenders - good beer - moderate crowd noise. A good time to be had.

We had a conference in Annaoplis and arrived at Galway with a group of 18, no reservations. They quickly accommodated us on tables seating 5 or 6. They were quick to set the tables, get place settings, and fulfill our drink orders. The food was excellent. I had Miss Peggy's crab cake and they were the best I have had... More

We were visiting Annapolis and Galway Bay was recommended by merchants several blocks away from the restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised by how good the food was and our service was excellent. John was our waiter. My wife claims that he looks like a young Brad Pitt. We went here twice during our two day stay in Annapolis.

The atmosphere is pub-like with a small diing room area on the other side from the bar. There is live entertainment on Sunday evenings, you'll hear authentic Irish brogues with tasty and affordable Irish dishes.

Stopped in for an alfresco brunch while attended a spring festival on Maryland Ave. Service was quick at first then non-existent. Food was pretty bad. I had "bangers and mash" with eggs. Eggs were nicely done over easy; potatoes and grave were OK. Sausages were just awful. Bangers should be plump, toothsome, and flavorful. These were skinny, with non texture... More

Dinner with wife. Good food. Magnets was on draft! Mussels were very good. Some of MD's best crab cakes. Service was better than average.

We had dinner here on a Sunday evening. While my husband enjoyed his reuben sandwich, I had to return my cabbage rolls. The cabbage was like rubber. I could not cut into them and they were covered in a sauce that I could not eat. The beer selections are great!

Very good food, good water and I loved the fact that the waiter was Irish (or at least I thought he was, I didn't ask).
