What a fun place. Galway Bay Pub is obviously Irish and the decor reflects that. Best Potato & Leek soup around. What impressed me the most was the wait staff. They were extremely helpful. It was a snowy day in Annapolis and our waitress called us a cab and when it didn't show up, she called them again, gave us... More

Galway Bay is in historic Annapolis just off the circle. We went in on New Year's day around 2:00 PM. I love Irish food and they did not disappoint. The 2 other restaurants that they own are very good too (Killarney House-West River & Brian Boru-Glen Burnie). We did get off to a rough start. The restaurant was virtually empty... More

Service was rude from the moment we walked in the door. The hostess asked if we had reservations, a fair question, but then gave us attitude when we said no. She did show us to a table for two, but as she was seating us she rudely asked whether we thought we'd be more than an hour because they had... More

We love this place. Good food and beer (ale) in an authentic Irish pub. But forget all the details and analysis. Just go there and order the CORNED BEEF BRISKET POPPERS! You’ve never had corned beef poppers? That’s because no place else on Earth has them! And they are amazing. We drive an hour just to get them. Well, and... More

We love Irish pubs........the quaint atmosphere and usually a lively crowd of people too. Galway Pub offered both...we really enjoyed its "old city" atmosphere with the bricked walls and beautiful wood floors. We started our meal with a glass of wine (sorry, but I am not into beer) and my spouse was happy to see that he had a choice... More

The food was great and gave you plenty of it. The bread pudding was amazing. It is expensive, but was worth it. The servers need to be more personable. Plenty of quaint shops nearby. Need to go early if you want to do both. We were a big party and did not have to wait long to be seated.

A quaint Irish pub in the quaint Annapolis. A great stop for a late night drink, a catch up with friends or if you are desiring a good Irish feed.

Every time we go to Annapolis we go to the Galway Bay. We love the bar and the atmosphere in the pub. A couple weeks ago, we went to Annapolis for the "Midnight Madness" event. It is always fun because all the stores are open until Midnight. This year we had their delicious Eggnog drinks. They were so delicious!!! My... More

If you're out to find the best reuben sandwich in the Annapolis area, stop right here. It is a slow-cooked, stick-to-your-ribs kind of sandwich that melts in your mouth. Top it off with a tall Guiness and you're done for the night. Whether seated in the pub area or in the restaurant, the atmosphere is fun, not too loud, and... More

Galway Bay is a great off-the-main-drag location in Downtown Annapolis serving Irish drinks and cuisine. I go there with my co-workers for happy hour (3:00-6:30) during which they have about 10 offerings, each for $5. You have all the popular drinks on tap like Guiness, Harp, Magner's, etc. which are always tasty, but the prices could be a bit more... More
