Better than excellent

The food was phenomenal, the atmosphere homey yet sophisticated, and the service was professional. I had my favorite—snails—salmon with ratatouille, chocolate mousse cake, and tea. The food was phenomenal, the atmosphere homey yet sophisticated, and the service was professional. I had my favorite—snails—salmon with ratatouille, chocolate mousse cake, and tea. The snails and cake were superb. With tip it was $61—well spent, I might add. The crowd was overwhelmingly couples in their 40s-60s; many were regulars. I arrived before 6:00 p.m. My waiter had worked... More

Absolutely adore this restaurant! Such a very friendly place, with owner's lovely welcome, and delightful menu! Now that I live in Florida, I wish often of a marvelous lunch there. Service is exceptional, too. May plan a trip northward just to dine there. Perfectly great times there--hope you discover the same!

Been going here for years like so many Annapolitans. This restaurant offers high quality and so very french meals. The food is always reliable, from the escagot to the duck confit. to the liver and onions or the fresh fish of the day. You are made welcome here, and soon feel at home. It's like visiting family overseas..

Absolutely the best I have ever had. This was the first restaurant I tried Foie Gras and years later, I keep coming back for it.

This was a great place for Mothers' Day lunch. We had the Dover sole, boned at the table with asparagus spears, perfectly cooked. The vichyssoise soup was delicious. For dessert, the chocolate mousse cake was superb, one of the best I've had. The service was also excellent. The only drawback might be the prices, but for a special occasion, it's... More

Annapolis is a wonderful little restaurant city and Les Folies is our favorite. Not only is it convenient to our motel, but it has ample off-street parking. It is housed in a non-descript building - in fact we ignored it for several years because it didn't seem attractive. A big mistake. Inside is a pleasant decor with lots of wall... More

Les Folies Brasserie provides authentic French atmosphere. Starting with the maître d’, continuing with the décor and the menu and ending with the waiters attitude. The dishes we had – Le Portabello Maison, Le Pate De Campagne, Le Foie Gras Frais Sauté Aux Pommes Et Son Jus, and Le Coq Au Vin were all excellent. Recommended.

This is my favorite restaurant in Annapolis. I have been there multiple times for various celebrations and the good of everyone out our tables each time has been excellent. I wish there were other Annapolis restaurants of this caliber.

Well-reviewed, Les Folies is a stand by traditional french bistro. Due to it's location, which is on a strip of gas stations and fast food places, expectations were fairly high, especially based on a number of reviews from various sources. So, we were meeting 6 people. Upon arrival, 4 others had just arrived. So we waited for the other 2.... More
