Very Good, Quiet

A friend and I were looking for a place while waiting to attend a lecture at the Maryland Hall for Creative Arts, Paul's Homewood Cafe was just around the corner. It's a small restaurant, kitchen opens up to the bar area and you can see it as you walk inside. This was our first visit, saw the 2... read more

Visited Paul's Homewood Cafe twice this week. What used to be my favorite restaurant in town quickly dropped to last place. Service and food were far below par especially service. On my first visit the server was clearly untrained and there was no apparent supervision. One of our party was served the main course while the rest of us sat... More

We have eaten at Paul's a few times now and we always enjoy our food. No matter what we order, the kitchen seems to do a good job on executing the dish. This visit was no different as everything we ordered, from the oysters to the soup, to the main course (fish special, short ribs, Steak Diane) to the desserts,... More

My husband and I like to try different places for lunch and dinner. Paul's was our pick for the day . (lunch) . We were seated immediately upon arrival. The first thing I noticed is that it was quiet. No loud boisterous music. There were several tables occupied but no loud conversation TV's were located in the bar area, but... More

The Greek food was authentic and delicious. The premises were clean. The restaurant was tastefully decorated for the season.

When I walked into Paul's Homewood Café, my first thought was wow, this is swanky! A full bar was in view and the tables were set nice with white table cloths and cloth napkins. I went there for brunch and had a delicious crabcake and French fries. They served a complimentary mimosa. My sister had a bloody Mary that was... More

We like to eat early and we were their first customers the night we dined here! Our waiter was great and he promptly went to find out answers to several questions he couldn't answer. We appreciated when he admitted he didn't know the answer and went to get the answer for us. Quiet dining and our dinners were very good.... More

I've been going to Paul's for years. I love the mussels and the other seafood dishes. The Moussaka is outstanding. Staff is always so nice and accommodating.

Unassuming on the outside, a few blocks off the beaten path, but the food is first rate Greek and seafood at reasonable prices. The Greek mess plate with 4 dishes and a salad was only $22, as was the salmon dish. Portions are generous.

Needed refueling after the tour of the Naval Academy-friend took us to Paul's. I had the Greek Salad with Salmon-very nice. Fresh greens, salmon cooked perfectly. Others had the Greek salad and enjoyed. We also had a side of Spanakopita which was some of the best I've had! Would definitely return!
