Hit or miss, but mostly good

I've been to Rams Head several times. Most of the time (3 of the 4), we had decent service and good food. It's usually pretty busy, but we're still tended to and the experience is decent. It's great to eat there as it has a lot of history, and all-in-all I liked it. The last time we went... read more

The food was very good but the service was lousy. It took a long time to get our food and after the meal the waiter was nowhere to be found. After a long wait I had to go and get the manager to bring us our checks.

Annapolis is one of my favorite towns that I've ever been to. I've been to numerous places in Annapolis, but Ram's Head is hands down my favorite place to go. This is my fiance and I's favorite restaurant to go to for a relaxing dinner out, or a fun time with our friends. Ram's Head never disappoints. In addition to... More

The Rams Head Tavern is well located on West Street in Annapolis, not far from Main Street and the state capitol. It has a nice bar, and good size restaurant. The food is good -- certainly as good or better than other places in town -- and it could be a decent value. One mild complaint: at $32 the crab... More

This is my new favorite lunch spot in Annapolis! I felt the service was great. Their Old Bay wings were possibly the best I've had, and their cream of crab was right up there with the wings.

This tavern with it's in house brewery produces good food and fresh, tasty beer. Rams Head Onstage next door has musical acts, it's easy to get a meal and then go see a show. Diverse menu.

We had dinner at the tavern as part of a concert package. I was not expecting the menu to be as diverse as it was and certainly did not expect a lobster dinner for $15.00. It was great. We will definitely be back.

My husband and I visited this place for happy hour/appetizers while visiting Annapolis. When we arrived we were the first of only a few people in the bar area and seated ourselves. We did not receive service for at least 10 minutes, but waited because we read such good reviews online. After our waiter came he suggested a beer for... More

An evening at Rams Head never disappoints. The dinner menu, though not extraordinary in its breadth, has enough choices to satisfy a diverse group. Best of all, the execution is top quality, and the service is professional and friendly. If you're attending a show at the Rams Head Onstage next door, start your evening in the dining room (which will... More

Rams Head Tavern is an informal pub located in Annapolis. The food is certainly not fancy, but is always very good. Service is always excellent. It is connected to Rams Head on Stage concert venue, making this a great pairing, have dinner, then see a concert. Always a great experience.
