Although we did have a better than average waitress (Lindsay), she kind of fizzled at the end of the meal when there were concerns about charging for substitutions that had not been discussed and were no where in print. Rams Head has a lively atmosphere, the beer garden is particularly interesting (although a HUGE downside is that they allow smoking... More

The menu has undergone many changes in the past year or so to a more pub-food style restaurant as opposed to some of higher-priced entrees they used to feature. This is a good and bad thing in my opinion. I have been disappointed in the past, so now when I go, I usually stick to having a burger or something... More

We visited Rams Head for a Scott Kirby concert (Terrific) and went early for Dinner. The beer sampler was good but the food was so-so at best. Not much flavor. Both meals were under-cooked but the worst part was the service. Server didn't seem to care if customers were served. This is a classic "too busy for their own good"... More

The food here is consistently good! Their menu is very nicely put together and uses fresh ingredients. Definitely a GREAT place to enjoy a nice meal before a GREAT show at Ram's Head OnStage! They have nice dishes with decent levels of spice and flavor to them. On a recent visit the service we received was less than average though.... More

I dined here with a large group of 20. Rams head was a great choice for accomadating our group size. It is in a great location in historic downtown Annapolis and was an easy walk from the Loews hotel. I called for reservations and the staff answering were always pleasant. I love the atmosphere here indoors and outdoors. The Crab... More

Ram's Head is a great spot to enjoy a beer, good chow, and take in a show. They serve Fordham beers, once brewed in-house but now produced in Dover, Delaware, where they've teamed up with Old Dominion for a little economy of scale brewing. The customer base seems to be a healthy mix of locals and tourists, and the bar... More

We had a group of 12 and our own room. Very nice drink menu and solid food menu. Everything thing our group had which includes three of the appetizers and a wide range of menu items as well as their local brewed beers were popular with the group and tasty. The service was solid and they did a great job... More

We were strolling along and stopped in for a seat at the bar. The bartenders were very friendly and fast with the service. Those that like to visit places that brew beer this is one of them but you may not see it from the outside. We had the house IPA which was mildly hoppy with a smooth fruity tone... More

My husband, son, father, nephew and niece ate at the Ram's Head Tavern on Wednesday, April 4. We loved the food and the service was great. We would eat there again. We wanted to go back but with our son's wedding, we never got the chance. If we visit Annapolis again, we will make sure we eat at the Ram's... More

I was with a large party of business people and we were treated rudely and the service was horrible as if they didn't want of need our patronage! In this economy you would think they would welcome all patronage. Long wait for food food was messed up. How can you take hours and mess up a turkey club .
