This wonderful tavern is in the historical section of Annapolis and right across from the O'Callahan Hotel. This should be a must on everyones dining list. This place has a great atmosphere and a staff that is outstanding and accommodating. The bar area is usually the busiest but there are several different rooms where you can eat and not feel crowded.... Recently ate dinner here and my first impression was very positive regarding the atmosphere and decor. Very lovely pub, modern, well lighted and well decorated. The staff were exceptional and very helpful. You can tell it is a teamwork atmosphere with them and they were all genuine, nice people. I had the crab soup/ chowder. My god. It was amazing.... More

I are here often and always loved the crab dip. The food otherwise is decent for the price. It's also nice place for meetings. Less touristy and more locals/concert goers.

We were told by a couple of midshipmen that this was the best place in Annapolis. Our first visit was late at night for a couple of drinks and appetizers which were quite good. However, our waitress was odd. Everything she said was bizarre. She said that they were slammed and it was really hot in there. Well, there were... More

In town for a football weekend - second time here and was not disappointed. The Crab soups was very good - the Crab cakes were excellent. The place was hopping busy - so it was loud and very active - was much different feel on our previous visit on a weekday. I would go back.

The only time we eat there is when we have tickets to a show because the food and service is never all that great and we've been going there for more than 10 years. My wife ordered a drink from their specialty drink menu, a type of mojito. The menu says it is supposed to come with muddled mint. She... More

Just had one drink but had a very knowledgable and friendly bartender who we learned about some local beers from. A great place for a nightcap.

Although we have been to the Rams Head before to watch concerts this was our first experience eating there. We made reservations for 5pm on a Monday night and when we arrived, we were seated directly. The wait staff was prompt and on top of the ball. Our waiter kept a close eye on things to see if we needed... More

We dined twice here on a trip to Annapolis as a family of 4, two boys of 19 & 17! It's busy but that adds to the atmosphere and we were seated both nights. Once in the basement bar that is bare red brick and you know you are in a historic building. The staff couldn't be friendlier and the... More

Like this place for its laid back ambiance. However, the inside is always crowded as it is a popular place but the outside makes up for it. It is a great for small groups.
