Any trip to Annapolis is not complete without a meal at Middleton Tavern. The food & service is top notch. All the crab dishes are excellent. We love this Annapolis institution for all it's history, delicious food and place to share good times with family & friends.

This is a nice spot and a good place to sit outside and people watch. But, that being said, the outside seating is tight and only one in each party really gets a good view. The service is a bit cavalier -- the hostess with a wave of the hand gave us our menus and told us to find our... More

Can only comment on the crab cakes which we ordered broiled. They were very good! The sides were also very appealing and the restaurant decor was also pleasant. We ate inside as the outside dining was crowded and it was a hot day. The menu was pricey but competitive with the other neighboring restaurants in downtown Annapolis.

This place offers a cozy place to sit down and get some good food. Started off with some oysters that were breaded and baked, (it was a special) and they were out of this world! The oysters were huge! I had a crab cake sandwich that was delicious, and someone else in our group had the pork belly sliders, which... More

We sat on the patio, where we had a good view on what was going on and had the best crabcakes ever! Nice place for a casual dinner.

I would definitely not return to this restaurant. The food was not good! I ordered a seafood salad which the waiter told me was excellent. The seafood was all boiled and had absolutely no flavor at all. There were two shrimp that were cut in half to look like 4 pieces and 2 scallops. I barely ate it. The other... More

We were recommended this place by a couple who loved it. Nice historical place, great outdoor seating in the heart of the town and cute ghost stories about Roland the friendly ghost. The food was ok the shark steak was extremely good my son said the pub burger was good but my fish was very greasy and trying to pick... More

We picked this place for lunch because they had tables outside, and it was in the middle of the town square. Nice place to sit and watch everything. Would have been more enjoyable on a cooler day. Service was good and quick enough. The Maryland crab soup was really good with just the right amount of spiciness. The chicken sandwich... More

food was good, not special. Potatoes sliced served as fries were plentiful but greasy. Easy access in the center of waterfront.
