Please order the fried potatoes and scramble eggs with cheese, tasted like Mom used fix. The waitresses were so pleasant and love the atmosphere, also would love the steal the cook.

We started eating here years ago when our children were babies and toddlers. Some things never change. The place is a zoo - super crowded but there is always room for you and your family. Our waitress was at our table quickly and drinks arrived super quickly, with our favorite bucket of sliced pickles. My husband ordered 2 pounds of... More

Great decor, awesome sandwich, think we were there at an off time for the staff; we arrived in the midst of extreme flash foods, but once we got their attention, things got started and the coffee and sandwiches were so good! My wife is a vegetarian and on finding some meat in her veggie omelet, the waiter shrugged it off... More

How is this place ranked #12 in Annapolis? You are stacked on top of other people to eat low quality diner food! To add to the lack of ambiance, sit next to the window on Main Street and the tourists can stand right up to the glass and stare at you through the window while you are trying to eat... More

Annapolis is one of my favorite cities in the world. Despite being the capital of Maryland, it's got a unique, small-town feel with friendly folks abounding. Chick and Ruth's Delly is the perfect place to experience local Annapolis tradition, and (in my opinion) the best Maryland Crabcakes in the entire state! I had a van full of colleagues heading back... More

We're still dreaming about the crab cakes at Chick and Ruth's. They were mostly chunks of crab with just enough breading to hold it together. We had the crabcake eggs benedict which was delicious and more food than we could eat. Every thing we ordered was very good and with portion sizes so large as to be dangerous to finish.... More

We were in Annapolis visiting the Naval Academy & tried this place for breakfast. It's pretty loud but in an energetic way. We were seated promptly, despite how packed it was. Tables are small and you sit cheek by jowl with your fellow diners. Speedwise, it didn't feel like we waited too long to order, or wait too long for... More

I love going for the Country Fried Steak on a daily. One comment I will make is that the service isn't all that good sometimes and they take a long time to realize you sitting there and take your order.

We stopped at Chick and Ruth's on a Friday afternoon while wandering Annapolis. I was surprised by how crowded the restaurant was, but the friendly servers and good food more than made up for the close quarters. The menu is huge with something for everyone. All of their bread is homemade; which made for a really yummy turkey club on... More

We stumbled on this late on a Sunday night. Wanted a bite to eat before heading back to our room....staff was very friendly. The menu was extensive...breakfast served all day, giant hamburgers, all types of sandwiches, of course fish AND crabcakes! Our food was excellent and big portions. But what makes this a real gem is the nostalgic atmosphere...the quirky... More
