Picked up our son from USNA and had to visit. Was seated within two minutes and the place was packed. My son wanted to try the six pound milkshake and the two pound burger! I tried the two pound reuben. We'd seen it on TV and thought, "Why not?" Oh my gosh! The reuben was on rye bread made in... More

Ate here with friends recently. A busy place but we were directed to a table right away. Service was good with I believe the owner's son stopping by to check on everything during our meal. We had the crab dip which was great, a reuben sandwich, a crab cake and a BLT plus a small milkshake. No complaints from my... More

Ended up here one night when we left another restaurant for not being able to get our order to us after over an hour wait. We were a bit disgruntled and hungry! Chick and Ruth's was bustling as always but got us a table for 5 right away. The hostess told us they were short-staffed so to be please patient.... More

We hadn't read much about this place, but we walked along Main Street for two days and saw all of the people waiting outside so we decided to check it out on a Sunday morning. We were seated within 3 minutes of arriving at a very small table in the corner. The menu was overwhelming, but I quickly decided on... More

Really interesting place to have breakfast full of local flavor and interesting quirkiness (including the "largest milkshakes in the world and can win a t shirt if you can drink the milkshake and eat a giant burger in less than an hour"... Lots of locals inside we all found it interesting. Super patriotic (they did the pledge of allegiance at... More

Place is kind of small but the food is great and the wait staff is very attentive. Many locals go there.

In a town not known for Jewish eateries or Jewish anything, we were surprised to find a Jewish deli here in Annapolis. Perhaps "Jewish deli-style" would be a more appropriate moniker. If you have eaten in a New York deli, you will find this deli average at best. As a break from the crab cake and burger joints, a meal... More

We stayed at Scotlaur Bed & Breakfast which is above Chick&Ruth's Delly while in Annapolis MD both are run by the the same family. What an enjoyable time we had in this wonderfully located Inn, smack in the middle of everything We parked our car and never got back in it for 3 days. Our room #301 was in the... More

I would go again for breakfast, a burger or sandwich, just not the crab cakes. I brought my cousin here (she was visiting from SF) because we were looking for a good MD crab cake. I'd had breakfast at Chick & Ruth's Delly and enjoyed it, so when I saw the sign out front that said they were voted best... More

Every city has a unique place to eat that is only in that city. Chick and Ruth's is Annapolis. We have been there a couple of times. We had breakfast this trip which was very good. Where else can you get a giant malt with your eggs! The owner is very intense which is entertaining and he did magic tricks... More
