Dinner was wonderful

We met friends for dinner. We had the duck. It was wonderful. They where very busy. We where lucky and parking was easy. The service was a little to rushed for me. Our waiter was pleasant but so busy he would drop plates down or splash us with coffee not knowing. I feel slow is smooth. That was the... read more

My husband and I caught the prix fixe, three course meal before attending a show nearby. The prix fixe menu has many of their chef's specialties. I had the house pate', which was a large, delicious portion I would recommend. The highlight of the dinner was my husband's salmon served in a light beurre blanc sauce with blue berries. While... A work day in Annapolis turned into a delightful afternoon. The apecials on the chalk board sounded intriquing and I was a bit too hungry to go any further. I had the grilled avocado filled with crab meat on a bed of field greena and a side order of French Fries. Sometimes I just need the fires. Both plates were... More

We had dinner here Friday night and they were wonderful. We had misjudged how long it would take to get to Annapolis - 2 hours from Baltimore on a Friday night - and they had a table ready for us when we arrived way past our reservation. We told the waitress we had to leave in 40 minutes to make... More

We arrived a few minutes early for our reservation on a Saturday night when they were very busy. They could not seat us and were obviously struggling with the chaos. We offered to go next door for a drink and come back and they said they could offer us a drink. Everyone gave their order and then they came back... More

We visited this restaurant while on a short visit to Annapolis. We liked the look of the menu and although it was busy the night we were there we weren't in a hurry so happy to wait. The waiter who took our order appeared very rushed. We ordered soft shell crabs for my husband and I ordered the Sea Bass... More

Nice place to go with a small group of friends. Equally nice as a couple's restaurant. The interior is quaint and small. The fireplace in the Winter adds a nice touch.

Stopped in on a Wednesday night and had a wonderful meal. My duck was expertly prepared, the lamb I shared with another guest was superb, the wine was on special that night. Very comfortable, a nice place!

First introduced to Cafe Normandie thanks to Annapolis Restaurant Week 2015. I went both on the Saturday and had the potato leek soup, grilled Cornish hen and creme caramel. Had business in Annapolis and stopped in for lunch and was delighted to see they extended their Restaurant Week menu to the following week. I had lamb and black bean soup,... More

We were disappointed in this restaurant. We expected more given the other reviews. The food was certainly acceptable, but nothing special. My husband had a calamari appetizer which was lightly breaded calamari with a balsamic salad. He said it was bland, except that the radicchio in the salad overwhelmed the calamari. His entree was okay as was mine, but we... More
