The first thing that I would say is that the atmosphere is not romantic. It was a Saturday night and it was loud. The decor was very dated as well. Again, not romantic. The service was very slow. We were there for over an hour before we got our entree. My wife and I both ordered the surf and turf.... More

We saw Café Normandie as we drove through Annapolis looking for a parking space and decided that was where we’d have dinner, we made a reservation as it was a busy Saturday evening. We were given a booth and though near the kitchen, it was definitely quieter than being at a table. We were quickly given menus and the wine... More

I visited this restaurant with a group of six colleagues while on business in Annapolis. The restaurant was in an excellent location on Main Street close to the harbor. The staff was very friendly and the food was excellent. We mostly chose from the early specials that were all very good. Definitely would recommend to anyone looking for something a... More

We had not only a great dinner with wine but went back the next day for breakfast. I can't decide which one I liked the best, it was all very good!! I don't think it was as expensive and others might think and I'm pretty frugal. You get what you pay for and this food is prepared by a French... More

For a large group this is a possibility – but not inexpensive. Our group was 12 in number and we were traveling together and Café Normandie was willing to seat us all at a single table. As it was a French restaurant we did not expect sizable portions. But, when they arrived, for example, the Chef Special, soft shell crab... More

My spouse and I had the specials celebrating Bastille Day and they were delicious. At a French restaurant I don't expect to get big portions. But, when we ate there the second time, a Chef Special, the soft shell crab almondine, was a waste of money, as there was almost no crabmeat inside the little crab. Fortunately, my spouse ordered... We enjoyed the special three course Bastille Day dinner menu. Got to sing La Marseillaise too. What a great finale to a fun day touring Annapolis. The service was outstanding too.

I went to Cafe Normandie for dinner and ordered the New York strip steak with béarnaise sauce and a bowl of their soup du jour which was gazpacho. The soup, as always, was very good and was served right away. I was brought hot some bread with whipped butter which was also very good. I ordered my steak rare, and... More

We had late breakfast at the Cafe Normandie on Saturday. Food was great - I had their crepe, my husband an omelette. Waiter was great, coffee was great. Would highly recommend.

We stopped by to get breakfast/brunch and this was an awesome choice. Really nice ambiance, excellent coffee and very, very delicious food - what else could we ask for? I really recommend Crab Eggs Benedict, they were amazing! Overall nothing else to write besides that I 100% recommend this place.
