We had a pre theater meal on an June evening and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the service and food. We started with a half bottle of wine, which is just right for us. I had scallops with corn risotto. I was a little wary of risotto with corn, but it was delicious. The bits of corn... read more

Wow! The corn risotto with scallops were exceptional. I ordered this after reading the great reviews here and I can contest that this is a wonderful dish. Three large, thick scallops cooked to perfection. I am leary about eating thick scallops and expressed this to the waitress, she assured me they would be cooked well and they were. The cream... This is an outstanding French restaurant, adheres to the French tradition of fresh ingredients, locally sourced. All the classic French dishes, expertly prepared. We have dined in many very good French restaurants and this is one of the best. Chef owner Jean-Louis Evennou obviously takes great pride in his craft. Our server Nathan was excellent as was Diana and Sam... More

The entire meal was fantastic!. the brie-almond-honey appetizer was exquisite - interesting how so few ingredients can make such a wonderful appetizer. The corn risotto and sea scallops melted in your mouth. The creme brulee'- delicious. We saw several beautiful salads pass by our table.

Very good dinner in the historic district. Husband's soft-shell crab almondine appetizer and sea bass main course were, in his French words "divin--divine". My gazpacho had way too much garlic, finished only half of it. My main course was the branzino nicoise. The sauce was perfect, the fish perfectly cooked, however it needed to be fileted or de-boned at the... More

We had an extended family (6) dinner that gets an A+ for all but ambience. Entrees and appetizers were great, flavorful, legitimately French in flavors. Seafoods were fresh of course (soft shelled crab, rockfish, mussels) and wine recommendations (single glasses) from our server were good. Service was professional, funny and friendly - most importantly personal and fast. Noise level are... More

Sunday Brunch should always be special. We arrived and were seated to an almost empty restaurant , which should have been a clue. We ordered the Eggs Benedict with crab and one with smoked salmon. I ordered coffee to go with my meal. The order came out and it was not very hot and covered with a smidgen of hollandaise... More

We had lovely escargot and soft shell crab appetizers. Fantastic up to that point. Our main courses, however, were well below expectations. The NY steak my son ordered was PLAIN to say the least, and beyond over cooked, although the fresh pasta he substituted for the side was good. My quail dish was overpowered by thyme and the mushroom based... More

Annapolis is lucky to have this French restaurant on Main Street. They truly do have outstanding food. From the French onion soup to the crepe. What they do lack is the ability to service the dinner guest in a timely and efficient manner. I went with my wife on a Wednesday evening and they were maybe 1/3 full. Pretty slow... More

My husband and I so happened to find this gem in Annapolis. We arrived right at 5pm when they opened and were seated immediately. Within minutes we were greeted by a smiling server who brought us piping hot bread, water as requested and a candle light for our table. The servers are knowledgeable about their menu and were happy to... More
