Charming relaxed atmosphere - and great music too.

This was a great discovery by a friend - a relaxed, charming restaurant without the tourist prices or pretense of most of the places downtown. I've looked for something like this before in the Annapolis historic center and always been disappointed by the quality of the food, high prices and general... read more

This was a great discovery by a friend - a relaxed, charming restaurant without the tourist prices or pretense of most of the places downtown. I've looked for something like this before in the Annapolis historic center and always been disappointed by the quality of the food, high prices and general pushiness (and I am a New Yorker!) If you like a crowded room cozied up to live musicians, this is the place for you. They cram quite a few tables into the room and the chairs are a little hard, but the opportunity to be very close to musicians is first and foremost. Went to see and hear Brazilians Richard Miller (guitar), Kay Lyra (guitar & vocals),... More

I came in for 2 lattes to go. The service was quick, the barista pleasant and the price reasonable. The latte was not very good either in taste or appearance. It basically seemed like black coffee with milk…no froth

We had lunch here while walking around in downtown with the kids. They were full, but we got a table within a few minutes. Great coffee, good selection in the menu, lots of child friendly items. The Mac and cheese was simple, but good. The crab dip was excellent. Everything was tasty and a good sized portion. In the main... More

We stopped here for wine and a small bite to eat while we killed a few hours downtown. The wine selection is pretty good, and the brie plate was delicious... a little messy, maybe, but totally worth it. Someone was playing on a guitar nearby, and that added charm to the atmosphere. Very pleasant.

Good choice and quality of food accompanied by live guitar and friendly staff. The tomato and Rosemary soup and the tuna sandwich were both great.

We had breakfast here and thoroughly enjoyed it. My husband had the eggs and sausage which he said were very good. I had the Belgian Waffle which was excellent. It was so good, my husband finished off what I couldn't eat. The staff is very friendly and efficient. We will definitely go here again if we're in Annapolis.

I came for lunch and coffee and was pleased. I love the relaxed ambiance. The food isn't cheap, but appropriate for the excellent quality. A portobello mushroom sandwich with cheese sounds like nothing, but they use the best quality everything including the roll. Potato salad is excellent, and I usually don't like American style potato salad. The coffee was excellent... More

Great place for coffee, breakfast, lunch... Bottomless coffee, great menu, fresh made food, obviously prepared with care. Great place to take clients, colleagues, family, or friends. Friendly staff.

The length of time it took to get 4 coffees was about 15-20 minutes on a Friday morning. By the time the coffee arrived it was lukewarm. Most of the other patrons were ordering food, so maybe this is not a place to come for coffee. The service was pleasant, but there was no apology for the length of time... More
