Really not sure how this place gets such good reviews... we usually try these hole in the wall places as they are usually excellent... however, unfortunately not here... ;-) The fish was thin, dry and tasted like it was previously frozen... the oysters were OK (not great) and the fries were straight out of a frozen bag.... the fish we... Wild Country Seafood is much more of a take-out establishment and seafood market with an outdoor eating area than it is an actual restaurant. My husband & I took a day trip from Philly, & while we were both expecting more of an restaurant, the food did not disappoint. Everything is fresh and cooked to order. If I visit Annapolis... More

We went because of the high ratings. Must admit, it was far more casual than we expected, but that suited us fine. Think fish counter...you can order fresh, raw fish to go, OR fresh seafood cooked according to seasonal menu offerings. We absolutely loved it!! We realized later that we could have walked toward the water to eat. But the... More

Off the beaten path in a bay front neighborhood you will find the freshest crabs and shrimp cooked and spiced to perfection . A few shady tables await you outside to enjoy your "catch of the day" with friendly folks that you have never met before. Be sure to BYOB. This is a storefront fish store with limited seating. Arrive... More

Wild Country not only shares the dock with the J33 I race on, but also catered my parents' sailing Club's oyster fest. The oyster stew was to die for. Just don't drink a gallon of it or the fat from the butter and cream in it might just stop your heart! Absolutely delicious, I had 3+ bowls and wish I'd... More

The people were friendly and the food was excellent. This is a local restaurant where the food is great and the restaurant is one of those that will be on "Diners, Drive-in and Dives." .The restaurant opens at 3 pm on the weekdays and 11 on the weekends and closed on Mondays. I would avoid the weekends because of the... More

The people were polite, and helpful. The place is a "down home", wear your flip flops kind of place and the food: DELICIOUS!!!! My daughter and son had the fish sandwich with fries and I had Haddock ... WONDERFUL! lThe servings are more than ample, and the tarter sauce, (home made) is to die for. ENJOY!

Fresh off there very own boats! They sell what they catch raw and cooked.Nice menu covering all the seafood bases. *Oysters were phenomenal. Sweet, slightly briny, HUGE, and plump.(see pic) *Crab cakes, awesome! Packed w/ crab..19.00. (See pic)This would cost 30plus in a fancy restaurant.... More

Everything I ordered was great! I had half a dozen crabs (nice and spicy), hushpuppies, onion rings (perfectly battered) and Cole slaw. I had no trouble finding parking, but after stuffing myself past full capacity I did have trouble walking back to my car. They only have a few tables, so you might have to share.

I've lived within walking distance of this place for the past two years and didn't know it existed. I found it on Tripadvisor so my wife and I biked over and gave it a shot on a nice Saturday afternoon. There was an awesome waterside atmosphere right next to the (free) maritime museum. It is pretty much a small fried... More
