While many breakfast options were available, the traditional breakfast selections did not disappoint. The food and the coffee, delivered promptly, were quite tasty. The server was friendly and attentive. The prices seemed a bit high.

We were visiting our son and his family in Annapolis and had a chance to take the Grandkids, ages 2 & 6 out for breakfast/lunch. We found Miss Shirley's on a gluten friendly web site and gave it a try....we're so glad we did. Everyone went out of their way to make us, but more importantly, the kids feel special.... More

We had an excellent breakfast at Miss Shirley's Cafe. The toughest part was making a choice, since there were so many delicious sounding offerings. Fresh, in season fruit was very good (melon, berries, pineapple). Gluten Free pancakes were some of the best my husband has had. The place was hopping, but the wait for seating was reasonable and service was... More

Want a lighter, more healthy option for breakfast? Try the banana split at Miss Shirley's on West Avenue in Annapolis. It was a split banana with yogurt and granola topped with various fresh berries. My friend had the traditional scrambled eggs, hash browns and scrapple. I snitched a bite of her biscuit and it was yummy. We sat at the... More

We had read and heard a lot about this restaurant so we decided on Valentines Day to check it out for ourselves..The menu looked foreign compared to the regular greasy spoon we frequent so we had to ask questions. Waitress had to check on a few things for us ..Breakfast arrived and visually it looked incredible...I ordered an old time... More

We were told to go to Miss Shirley's when in Annapolis. There was really a wide variety of choices for breakfast. It was hard for me to decided what to eat. Their apple wood smoked bacon was really good. But the cornbread that they served with my meal was not that good...it was pretty dry. My husband loved his breakfast... More

My husband and I rarely do "brunch" but on a visit to Annapolis when we knew we'd spend the next few hours walking around the campus of the Naval Academy, we figured we'd fuel up. We came to the right place. It was quite crowded and as no hostess was there to seat us we took a seat at the... More

Don't think I have ever seen a more original breakfast menu than Miss Shirley's. Best breakfast in months, great wait staff, quick knowledgable, helpful. A must stop for every one looking for something a little more than usual to start the day.

It's all hype! The menu was original but the food bland and middle-of-the-road. It was also rather loud and felt more like a chain than something called "Miss So-and-So". The food did seem fresh but I'm glad we went, but I don't think I'd go there again.

Had a modest breakfast there..the food was good, but a little pricey...However, in Annapolis, it is probably the norm. Had the bayou biscuits and Chesapeake Deviled Eggs (lump crab meat. diced tomato and chives, sprinkled with Old Bay...interesting combo...also had the Breakfast Banana Split...vanilla yogurt with a whole banana, raspberries, blueberries and pineapple, topped with house made granola and nuts....
