We stopped by on our way to the Naval Academy. We had heard from friends about the outstanding food, but the service was even better. And they have a good selection of gluten free items!

As a favorite Brunch Spot in Annapolis, Miss Shirley's used to be about outstanding food. Prices are high and a complete lack of flexibility with substitutions on the menu (plus an additional charge for anything) were overlooked because the overall value ended up very good. Lately, they have been in a tailspin, serving our food luke-warm and portions shrinking to... More

An interesting and fun southern menu for breakfast and lunch. Outdoor seating is available if you are bringing Fido along. Easy walk from any of the hotels on Main Street or West Street. Biscuits are to die for. 2 egg white breakfast entrees are available if you're trying to be good.

A friend and I came for our first treat at lunch time. Their white wine selection was not very good so we opted for soft drinks. We both ordered their barbecue sandwich and it came looking piled high and deep. What it was, in fact, was four deep fried pickle slices, a hefty amount of cole slaw, and, the barbecue... More

Many years ago I made a decision to change my diet in order to improve my health and to reduce my weight. I changed my diet and eliminated fried food and delicious breakfast food such as waffles, pancakes and French toast. I was reluctant when a friend suggested we go to Miss Shirley’s café. I decided to go with the... More

Miss Shirley's has been a Baltimore mainstay, and has been in Annapolis for a couple of years or so. I decided to try it one morning, just to try it out. The menu is very creative and extensive! More than your average breakfast or brunch restaurant! I got what I considered to be a more traditional breakfast. Eggs done right,... More

Enjoyed a delicious breakfast at Miss Shirley's. Read a few reviews before making our choice and was intrigued. The menu was filled with mouth watering, original delights - it was hard to make a choice. Settled on the Coconut Creme Stuffed French Toast - sinfully sweet, delicious and filling. My sister enjoyed the B'More Breakfast Trio Of Sliders. The decor... More

We were 4 adults and 2 toddlers. We arrived around 9:30 and were seated within 15 minutes. I had never tasted grits so I ordered the "Get Your Grits On!" which consisted of jumbo blackened shrimp on fried green tomatoes and stone ground grits with diced bacon and roasted corn emulsion. Deeelicious! The others in my party ordered Coconut Cream... More

My daughter and I tried Miss Shirley's for breakfast this past week. Oh. My. Word. We shared cinnamon roll waffles. Warm, fluffy, and surprisingly not overly sweet deliciousness in each bite! Followed by a vegetable omelet with everything but the kitchen sink in it.....zucchini, green beans, corn. A side of perfect hash browns and crispy bacon. A savory biscuit ended... More
