In Top 3 Breakfasts Ever!

I decided to try this restaurant by searching TripAdvisor for the best spots in Annapolis. My wife absolutely loves fried green tomatoes. Most of the menu seems to incorporate them into the dishes. I on the other hand never liked them and had to try them since it was a staple here. I finally... read more

Wish I had just eaten in my hotel restaurant for breakfast-would have been CHEAPER, faster, and better. The food was super expensive ($15 for an omlette?) and just OK. Server was decent but the food took a while. Would NEVER eat here again.

Ok so let me tell you about this place called Miss Shirley's. First of all, they ask you if you have any food allergies -- cool. Second, the menu gives you a life crisis given how many mouth-watering options there are. After several minutes of consideration l finally decided upon the Chicken & Waffles. Dear reader, let me inform you:... More

We decided to visit Miss Shirley's for Sunday Brunch. The first of our party arrived at 13:00 and we were given a hour and ten minute wait time. The meal was worth the wait, but was a little costly with smaller than average servings...meaning you will probably not have left overs. I ordered the sweet corn cakes, Mimosa, and Ms.... More

I waited for like approx 30 min. It wasn't that bad. This restaurant is constantly busy so prepare youself sometime possibly waiting in... More

We went for brunch and had quite a wait, but it was worth it. We had mimosas and these massive plates of french toast that had me giggling. The portions are huge, but so good. Prepare yourself and come hungry... and prepare to leave with a bit too much food in your stomach. So worth it.

My meal here was a treat from beginning to end. After being pleasantly greeted by our server, who asked if we had any dietary restrictions or requirements and told the specials, I decided to start with the Miss Mimosa and ordered the Bayou Omelet which had blackened shrimp, andouille sausage, tomatoes and cheddar cheese and the shredded potato & onion... We were visiting Annapolis and arrived early, freezing cold but we decided to walk from the Westin a short way to see what restaurants were available. A good decision! walked into Miss Shirley's and had a great brunch. The Belgian waffles were wonderful, all the food was excellent, the service was very good. It is not inexpensive, but we thought... I don't understand why with hotels literally 2mins away they can't take reservations so you don't have to stand in a crowded entry for over an hour with people coming and going. Really annoying. I don't care if the eggs are solid gold, I wouldn't wait that long. We left.

I visited this restaurant on Valentine's Day which was probably a poor choice. It was incredibly busy and the wait was long. Regardless, I had seen the menu and was interested in giving this place a whirl. While I waited, I ordered a few drinks at the standing bar. I had two original drinks recommended by another couple standing at... More
