Having visited several times we haven't encountered a dud from the menu yet. Not exactly your standard "Mexican Restaurant" fare as it has a lot of influences from Central American regions. They take great pains to make everything fresh and you can taste it in the dishes. The owner is happy to chat with you about the ingredients and the... More

I didn't expect much at first but was quickly surprised. Real sangria, Tasteful food, not a generic Latin food joint. I'm going back soon.

This is the fourth time I have visited Sin Fronteras; each time is better than the time before. My husband and I and another couple met at the restaurant and were immediately seated upon arrival. Warm fresh chips and salsa were delivered to the table and our drink orders taken. Sin Fronteras makes absolutely authentic Pisco Sours-they will rival those... More

Dining in Annapolis can be a tricky proposition. Most places downtown are either tourist traps or cater to the influence peddlers and those who sell us out to the lobbyists. Ordinary folks who live and work here are priced out or repelled by that crowd. Sin Fronteras is just far enough away, in a non-descript strip mall with a part-gravel... More

Best Mex in Annapolis. The most flavorful chorizo burrito, Ayeee! Date loved her chicky burrito, great flavor. Really good food in a place you would not expect.

you have to go to sin fronteras! from the moment we walked in, the owner approached us and asked us what we liked to eat. he commissioned a handmade habanero salsa for us because we said we liked spicy food, and even packed us some salsa and chips to take home. the food was delicious, fresh, and amazing. we would... The location is quite convenience in Annapolis, although the strip mall needs a bit of rehab work. We sat outside and in spite of the car noise (Friday night cruising) enjoyed our meal. The staff was very friendly, the owner came out to chat with us, and the other dinners were all happy. We had the calamari (grilled, NOT fried)... More

We decided to try this joint as we were driving through from DC to Charlotte based on TripAdvisor recommendations. Frankly, the owner is pretty self-involved and I think he has put people up to place ratings on TripAdvisor so that this restaurant can get a higher ranking. He is great at talking himself and his restaurant up as he goes... More

Excellent waiter, attentive staff, but entrees were average. Chips and salsa were very good, but both the Pollo Tropical and the Pollo a la barbacoa could use a sharper seasoning or two. The Pollo's chicken breast was very tender... but the barbacoa's "secret sauce" was unremarkable. The fried bananas for dessert were yum! Restaurant is situated in a lonely location... More
