We tried to go to this restaurant at 1pm one Sunday but the doors were locked tight and no one was inside. We have tried calling today ( 6/21/2014 at about 12 and 12:30 pm ) twice letting the phone ring over 12 times each time with no answer. If anyone actually gets inside, please write a review giving their... More

We are in Annapolis on our boat and we usually stop in here. The windows are covered with brown paper and there are legal type notices on the door. No one answers the phone. I have always enjoyed this restaurant so I hope it's not permanent -- or maybe they have moved/are moving but the status right now is closed.

My wife and I came back to Annapolis to get away for a few days and of course make a dinner date at Piccola Roma. We had dinner there twice in 2013, and again in Spring of 2014. It was still wonderful, the food is great, the ambiance is lovely and the staff still is first class. We can't wait... More

My husband and I and our friends were looking for a place to have a late lunch because our favorite Annapolis restaurant was closed that day. We didn't want to spend a lot of time browsing other places, but WE SHOULD HAVE. Walked into Piccola Roma. It had a funny smell, plus it was basically empty - bad vibe -... More

We were in town for a race and wanted to eat pasta the night before. We saw the good reviews for this restaurant, and decided to give it a try. We got reservations for Saturday night. The person on the phone was polite and pleasant. We arrived, ordered wine, and decided on salads and seafood pasta. My husband got a... More

This restaurant has great food. We enjoyed their Buffalo Mozzarella appetizer very much. We had the Shrimp Fra Diablo, which was really spicy and tasted wonderful. Our wine was very good. The restaurant is very pretty with their white table cloth and a nice looking bar. We enjoyed the view from our table watching the snow and people on street.

We were looking for a quiet place to eat and the restaurant was full which is always a good indication. Little did we know that there was a function with the Governor of MD and staff and they were having a great time (ie loud). We survived the noise. The vegetable soup with crab was delicious. The veal parmigiana was... More

An out-of-town close friend, my husband and I dined at Piccola Roma last night. Not only was the food delicious (we all ordered pasta seafood dishes), but the waiter, Christian, was remarkable. After he served our beverages and took our order, he returned before serving our meals to ask, would we prefer he hold it a bit longer? How did... More

Visited Annapolis on a beautiful spring-like day. This restaurant looked nice but it was empty on a very busy Annapolis afternoon. I was a little uncertain but decided to give it a try. I was served a delicious lunch while seated in a warm, sunny window seat watching the crowds go by. I ordered the chicken piccata - it was... More

Four of us celebrated a friend's dinner here and it was a perfect choice. The shrimp spaghetti (pescatora) was full of shrimp, scallops, and mussels. Others chose the crabmeat spaghetti, crab ravioli, and chicken in cream sauce. All of us agreed that our choices were delicious. It has an ambience that allows diners to converse in normal voices and not... More
