Our first visit was on a busy Monday morning and the place was packed. Doesn't look like much outside but the prices are reasonable, portion sizes ample and the service was very quick. The homemade tea biscuits were excellent!

It is a small restaurant on the main road in Augusta. It is not well marked so be careful you may miss it. I have been here several times and I have never been disappointed. If you are a Stephen king fan. They filmed a scene of thinner here. Did I mention they grill the biscuits. Amazing.

Growing up in Augusta, I have been to the Augusta House of Pancakes for over 50 years spanning from its old location near the old Augusta House by the circle to its new location (which is probably over 30 years) on Western Avenue. The service here is outstanding and many of the wait staff have been here for years and... More

While in Augusta, checked out Trip Advisor for breakfast recommendations and they steered us in the right direction as we did not want to go to any of the "chains". The pancakes were excellent as was a lunch "special". Food is made to order so it might take a little longer but it's worth the wait. Feels like you are... More

This place is a no brainer if your looking for a great breakfast or lunch. I've been going there since the late 80's and altough they have made some modifications to the building, the food hasn't changed Great Pancakes(Great texture, taste), great egg plates, great sides, great lunch specials, etc.. the staff has been there forever and you can tell... A good place for a typical "American" breakfast. Lots of eggs choices, spam hash, home fries and a choice of Kielbasa instead of sausage. Coffee is good.

We go here frequently for breakfast and there is a TON of things to choose from. Eggs are always done to perfection, the atmosphere is fun, a little outdated, but that is what makes it fun! Kids will love the pancakes and there is never a shortage of a smile from the staff. Enjoy!

A real breakfast diner. Closes at 3pm. (Look for a HOUSE on the edge of the Shaw's parking lot.) Very homey decorations, great coffee, better food. Friendly, efficient service. Oh my, everything is excellent, served on old-fashioned dining plates. The bacon is thick and MEATY. Good coffee. Local crowd. Very clean bathrooms. For $2.99 one can order two pancakes or... More

I like AHOP(AUGUSTA HOUSE OF PANCAKES). it has been in business for a very long time, and have a lot of repeat customers so that tells me that the food is good, the value is there and that the staff are friendly. My husband and I go there often for breakfast and I can always know I will get just... More

This is an OK place for breakfast. The food is uneven - good eggs but tough pancakes. During our visit, the link sausages were not quite cooked enough. The blueberry muffin was very good. The service was wonderful and friendly. Be aware that although the sign on the building says Lunch and Dinner, they are open only to 2 or... More
