We absolutely LOVE this restaurant! The staff is very friendly and informative, and the owner is excellent. It is always great to see someone taking such pride in their business. Their home made bread with garlic dipping sauce is phenomenal...we always end up getting two or three orders of it. We have not eaten anything that we have not liked!... More

This Italian bistro is authentic and the food was fantastic! The service was very good. The atmosphere was relaxed but elegant. All the dishes we had were prepared well with perfect seasoning. This small bistro is well worthy of the five stars and we will return for sure!

Authentic amazing in Augusta! We read the reviews in search of something special nearby. Gaglianos was a goldmine. Our server, sorry we didn't get his name, was terrific, friendly and knowledgable. We weren't rushed and he took the time to check with us often and meet every need. The food.... Outstanding.... The bread and aioli was delightful. Meatball appetizer was... More

We tried Gagliano's last night because of a Trip Advisor posting. Nothing but good to report. The Caesar salad, available as a full or half order, had an eggy, garlicky dressing, and not too much of it. The bread was homemade and came with aioli and chopped tomatoes in oil, also homemade. The freshly made farfalle pasta was cooked just... More

After reading reviews here, we decided to give Gaglianos a try last night. The food was incredible - authentic Italian through and through. We started with the meatballs...a must have. The meat melts in your mouth and the sauce was to die for. Great flavor and a little kick - the sauce shows up in some entrées (bolognese uses the... More

We went to Gagliano's last weekend for about the 6th time and it seems to have slipped a little. The food wasn't bad but not up to the standards as before. The pasta dish my wife had could have used a little more sauce. The pork dish I had could have used some garlic. You would expect that from an... More

Substantial variety of Italian, served nicely in a pleasant atmosphere. Interior décor is not overdone. Don't expect to just order, eat and leave ala American style. Sit and enjoy your wine, an appetizer and then be slow to finish.

I visited here several times during business trips to Augusta. I was totally and utterly blown away every time. I am Italian, by birth and this is one of the 5 BEST Italian restaurant I have visited ever since I moved from Italy to the States. I can cook and let me add I have travelled a bit. Forget spaghetti... More

Skeptical of an authentic Italian in Augusta, I had to try it. I had to admit the, the selection was amazing from pastas to seafood to filets (specials). This is the only place i've been to that makes their own pasta, red and white sauces, meatballs, and bread. And you could tell it was homemade. It was the most mouth... More

Love the food, bread, aioli, wine, and beer!!! The service is top-notch...how can you beat authentic Italian cuisine served by U.S. Veterans? I highly recommend this fine establishment. It is truly Augusta's hidden gem.
