I have been going to Grittys for literally years. The last three times I've been to this location I've been really disappointed. Fish and chips twice... Which have always been awesome... Were overcooked, greasy, and not hot. Last time, we waited twenty minutes to even have a server get to our table for a drink order. The food took a... More

Excellent pub food, huge portions, fantastic beer, fast friendly service. What more could you ask for when going out for a fun time with friends and family?

Best Gritty's in Maine! No bad meal choices and excellent brewery. Sit on the deck and enjoy the Falls!

Really not a lot to dislike about this microbrewery. Unpretentious atmosphere with live music, plenty of room and a nice outdoor seating area that overlooks the river. A nice selection of beers and a fine menu that has a nice selection of the typical dishes (sandwiches, salads, etc.) that one finds in microbreweries. The servers were very friendly and there... This was not my first visit to Gritty's. I've always had a good experience there so I took family from out of town for a relaxing meal, and yummy beer, on the deck overlooking the river. The food was better than you would expect from pub fare. The pulled pork fries were out of this world. Sweet potato fries smothered in... More

I usually like the food at Gritty's. We thought's we'd try something new - a chicken burrito and the fish burrito. It was not tasty at all. It was white rice, black beans, meat (chicken or haddock), in a wrap with melted cheese on top. There didn't appear to be any flavors inside and the menu said wood fired, but... More

Went to Gritty's while staying at the Hilton Garden Inn for a trip to the Oxford Casino. I am a huge beer fan so we visited the Pub. Food was pretty good - had the wings and artichoke dip, beer was wondering - the server was wonderful. She was attentive, sweet and ALWAYS smiled. She seemed to be the only... More

In town on business, a short walk away from the Hilton Garden Inn. Got in just before the work crowd. Service was good. We tried a few of their beers, which were very good. The chips were OK, and the wings were good, but nothing spectacular. The service was very courteous and prompt. The place has a nice atmosphere and... More

Just visited the area for work and this was the first place I checked. Its located in a cool spot and has some very cool views of the river from the decks. I had the lobster roll which was very good. I wouldn't say it was extraordinary but very fresh and I don't think you could go wrong with it.... More

It's a 5 min walk from the hotel. But, the atmosphere seemed to transport you down the river. Not a beer drinker, so I can't attest to the ales. However, the recommended lobster roll was delicious! I'm looking forward to more business trips so I can order other menu items! I hear the fish & chips are yummy!
