This restaurant has become a favorite when visiting the Auburn,Me area to visit my daughter. You can enjoy a local craft beer while having a great meal. The only drawback has been that service is usually a bit slow but in their defense, it's usually quite busy when we go there. I recommend a stop there for dinner, a sandwich... More

If you are up for a true local sports bar, and want good food also, you can't go wrong with Gipper's. It has scores of screens, patrons that are serious about following their teams, and having fun, too, AND, it serves good all-home-made food, including good burgers and hand-cut chicken strips, with multiple flavor seasonings and sauces. Local brews from... More

Food was OK! Fried fried fried! Service was OK! They tend to the regulars alot better than strangers! Agree with a previous viewer! Obnoxious drunks looking to relive their youth....... By watching sports and behaving like children!.......... No thanks I'll stick to Grittys!

While visiting, wanted to watch a college football game that was only on SEC network. And found they were the only one in town that had it (and kudos that a bar in Maine would have SEC network, and showing...). Young ladies at the bar were quite friendly and attentive. ordered a hamburger and it wasn't bad, but took a... More

A previous review of Gipper's said not to be put off by the location / exterior of the place, and I'm really glad that I wasn't. It's not the easiest to find, but once inside, it's a hive of activity, very nice people, and good food. Plus, if you're looking for a place to watch 'the game' I'm sure they'll... More

When I go to Gippers I am never disappointed. Always good food and a great time wether it's watching sports or just hanging out with my friends. There can be some wait time during the weekend evening time and that's about the worse of it. But it's worth the wait!

Im going to be very unpopular here, but Gippers isn't a top pick. It's typical, sporty, tv's in all directions, an occasional loud mouth drunkard. The jocks and middle age men who wanted to be sports heroes (with their trophy wives) inhabit this place. (similar to Buffalo Wild Wings). Seems like most people know each other and the waitresses run... More

From the exterior, the bar looks very sketchy, but as soon as you walk in the entry and down the hall you realize it is a very well kept, clean bar, family friendly, with great service. Great place to catch a game. Nachos were great.

Great food, excellent sports bar atmosphere. One of my favorite places to eat in L/A. All of the menu items are named after sports legends, the staff is always friendly ans courteous.
