We have eaten at this restaurant several times over the past couple of months. The seafood is absolutely delicious. We have also purchased seafood to take home to cook and it could not have been fresher. We have recommended this little jewel to all of our friends and family as we'll.

The chowder is delicious but we always purchase our fresh seafood, lobster and clams, from Mac's and have never had an issue. Customer service has always been top notch, and prices competitive.

A cup of chowder and a lobster roll for $10? Lovely fried clams for $9? Two haddock plates with fries and slaw for $17? The food was excellent, the people very friendly and the price, super! Stop by and check it out!

M is a lobster roll junkie. When they brought out the lobster meat sub I thought she had died and gone to heaven. It was the GRAND FINALLY to quote my wife. It is not a dress up place, it is hiking boots and sweat shirts. We were there for the FOOD. Nothing FANCY and the PRICES CAN'T BE BEAT.... More

I live locally and this is the only place to get fresh seafood done without making an elaborate production out of what already is fresh and stand alone excellent. Great service and another bonus is that the owner is also their number one cook and is very proactive about his menu and customer satisfaction. Highly recommended by this seafood aficionado.

We usually do take-out but Mac's has moved the lobster tank to add a few tables, so we opted to eat in. Delicious as usual! Restaurant menu doesn't list steamed lobster or clams, but they are available steamed to eat in or take out. No fancy ambiance here, but the quality and prices are top notch.

Nothing to do with the other Mac's down the street. Very good lobster rolls and friendly service. All food is prepared in sight. Eat at counter or picnic tables outside (or carry out, as many locals appeared to do). Mac's is not air conditioned and offers no ambience beyond its authenticity. Dessert right next door at Gifford's Ice Cream. The... More

With our daughter's recommendation we tried Mac's for lobster, clams and haddock. All was fresh and delicious at good prices. We'll return.

Not a fancy place...just a real down to earth restaurant to eat fresh lobster, steamers, chowder and onion rings. They have a few tables inside and about 6 picnic tables outside. Prices are very reasonable. One of the great local places. One drawback is that it is on a fairly busy road..if you decide to eat outside like we did.
