Great food, great atmosphere! Personal favorites: Crabcake and Shrimp Alfredo, Eggplant Pirogue, Shrimp and Tasso pasta.... Much of the food is rich, but there are salads available
We were in Alexandria in October and visited here with our family. Our server was fantastic, probably the best we've ever had anywhere. She brought my wife a sample of two types of sauce to see which would be the right seasoned for her and was exceptional the whole time the five of us were there and the food was... More
I visited Copeland's of New Orleans with some friends from work; we found ourselves in Alexandria for some Army training were in the mood for something tasty. The restaurant itself has a great atmosphere! It's dimly lit, romantic, colorful, and casual all at the same time. The servers are incredibly professional, very friendly, and very accommodating. I think there was... More
I go to Copeland's in Shreveport often and love it. The food and service are top rated. I took some out of town guests to the one in Alexandria thinking it would be as nice as the Shreveport location and was disappointed and embarrassed. This was on a Sunday afternoon and there were very few customers. There were no table... More
We just stopped in for a few drinks and I had the mac and cheese and sweet potato fries. Mac and cheese was amazing, sweet potatoes were not that good.
Stopped in with a colleague for dinner as loved it. We had the crawfish cheese fries for an appetizer and it was very good. I followed it up with Jambalaya pasta and it was excellent. I found the portions to be generous and the wait staff was friendly and efficient. I highly recommend it.
Very disappointed in food tonight. Service was great but had to send appetizer back twice. Fried tasted like old oil and burnt flour. Veal wasn't good either. Oh well. Won't be back.
Decide to eat here when in town on business. I went right in to the bar area with no wait and sat at a table. A waited a goo 15 minutes before anyone came over to even take my drink order. After that all went well. The service was great. I got the Shrimp Duckey with angel hair pasta and... More
OMG - this was an awesome choice for a Sunday brunch, jazz band included. Great food selection, from breakfast fare to prime rib. The best prime rib we've eaten! Highly recommended.
Me and my mother went on July 3rd and the food was great and the service was exceptional. Will definitely visit again when I go back to visit my mother
