This is one of the best places we have fount in the 48 for tasty, meaty oysters with a clean, salty flavor. Upon first seeing the size of the oysters we were worried they might be tough. No way - they melt in the mouth. Had a few dozen. Little room left, but we had to try the Boudin Balls... More

Had our anniversary dinner there while staying at the World-famous Betty's RV Park in Abbeville. Fried oysters too good to be true and crab cakes as good as any in Maryland.

Well one of Abbeville's best. Always fresh and done with a spirit of excellence. From pork chops to the fried shrimp and always great sides. Easy lunch crowd and good service. I will be back.

At lunch at Dupuy's yesterday with 14 other folks from the RV park. Everyone agreed the oysters were the best we've ever tasted and many of us are fulltime RVers and have traveled around the whole country and have had oysters in other states. I had the Oyster's Deville charcoal broiled with parmesan and romano cheese on top which were... More

Finally had a chance to return over the Christmas holidays after a 10-year hiatus, and, yep, just as good as it always has been. My family and I ordered several dozen oysters (raw, Rockefeller, Dupuy, and deVille), and they disappeared in a flash! All were super-tasty and perfectly cooked (except the raw of course). My wife and I split the... More

Dupuy's is our go-to place when we don't want to cook dinner at our temporary home. The food is generally good - raw & grilled oysters are excellent, love love love the Eggplant Abbeville (but it is rich!). Crawfish etouffee and fried selections are good to average, didn't like the pasta dishes we've tried. Really enjoy the grilled seafood salad... More

If you are in the Lafayette Louisiana area take the 45 minute drive south to Abbeyville and enjoy their Eggplant Medallion appetizer. It's a make the sky a little bluer and the sunshine brighter experience! I also recommend their Bread Pudding! We ate in the bar for lunch because the wait was 15 minutes. Our waitress was wonderfully attentive and... More

I don't see how food can get any better than this restaurant and the service was excellent. The manager was always nearby ready to explain anything we asked him. I had the oyster scampi. Oysters were not deep fried but breaded with a light coating of crackers and fried. The onion rings were hand battered and excellent as was the... More

It had a slab of cheese on the top of it and the potato did not seem to taste fresh, the client that i was with felt the same way neither of us ate it.... More
