This is a wonderful place for breakfast. They have New Orleans style beignets, plus a full breakfast menu... This is where the locals eat. Need I say more.

Recommended by the gentleman from the Museum/information centre near the square and Catholic Church,(well worth visiting). Super friendly and helpful staff and great breakfast to set you up for the day. Wish we had more time in Abbeyville so we could have come back to sample lunch.

This is a local place, no frills, no extravagant menu. Gret place to grab breakfast and see the local town people visiting and catching up with the local happenings. They have a delicious breakfast sandwhich and delicious begniets. The lunch menu is plate lunch, buffet style or sandwhiches off the menu. Good down home cooking.

Went for lunch yesterday after the wife saw that one of the daily specials was Chicken fried steak, one of my favorite meals. It didn't disappoint and her Shepards pie was also quite good. Sweet potato and black eyed peas sides were also quite tasty. Excellent lunch, very good service. we would definitely return.

Delicious home style breakfast and great waitresses!

Been going there for several years for breakfast. Great cajun hash browns and good prices. Tried lunch buffet only once and was not impressed. Nothing bad, I just do not like buffets personally. Waitresses are great and we enjoy eating there although we feel everybody sizing us up as we are usually the only non-locals in the place. Will continue... More
