Interesting Menu, Nice Location

Manolo Caracol only has a set menu of about 10 small courses. The location is great and we sat outside and got to experience the neighborhood, which is hip and happening. The service was excellent. We chose Manolo Caracol based on reviews on TripAdvisor and we were not disappointed. We were told my our hotel that we didn't need a reservation, but upon arrival, we were told that a reservation was required to sit inside on this busy Saturday night. Luckily they were able to accommodate us outside and we enjoyed the beautiful weather, street... More

My wife and I received a recommendation or Manolo Caracol that turned out to be perfect! The 7 course tasting meal was amazingly paired with a Spanish Tempernillo. The spicing was both tempting and subtle and left us wanting more. We left like we'd had an amazing moment, already planning to return. Don't miss this place... you'll regret it.

Manolo Caracol is in the Casco Antiguo section of Panama which has become a popular place for tourists and nationals alike. Panama has done a good job in developing this very old section which was dilapidated until people took interest in making it a great place to visit an stay. It is very close to the ocean. Manolo Caracol is... More

Great food. Fresh. Well presented. Excellent location in a beautiful area, and friendly staff and owner. You will not have a better mean in Panama. Heck, I've often thought of flying to Panama just for a meal here.

There are just a few things you can be certain about at Manolo Caracol: every one in the restaurant is eating the same thing you are and what you eat will likely be different if you go back again. The reasonably-priced prix fix menu includes nine small plate courses that on this night included: bone marrow with caramelized onion; carrot... More

This is recommended in every guide book and online article, so it was great to check it out. A nice atmosphere with big tables so while it felt busy, you also had good room and space. The server asks you what allergies you have, explains the concept and away we go. At first, the courses came think and fast but... More

We used the online rsvp but they must not check it so we were lucky to have stopped in earlier in the day to ensure a table. They open at 6pm & since most people eat late (9pm) our 6:30 meal was not a problem. We had excellent service with timely yet leisurely pace! A 7 course meal including dessert.... More

Four of us had no idea what to expect and were fortunate to get reservations for the day we flew into Panama City. Situated in the middle of Casco Antiguo with its narrow streets, old churches and beautiful squares the restaurant is in a restored old building. Immediately the friendly staff led us to a nice table and explained how... More
