All the dishes were excellent, with the exception of one, which was just good. Great experience. I loved eating 8 different dishes.
A good friend recommended this from his trip years ago. Every course was better than the last. About 8 courses for $35pp plus a nice bottle of wine. Open kitchen & in a neat area of Panama City.
Tiny but packed! And not surprisingly as the food is great. You don't know what you're getting, is a fixed menu of 7 courses, each a surprise but each very good. The atmosphere was great, bustling little place with good food. A must in Panama City.
We were recommended to this restaurant by a B&B owner while we were staying in Pedasi. Went for our anniversary and had a great experience. Like everyone says there is no menu and you are served several courses. Excellent presentation and very tasty. We ordered the featured wine of the evening that is paired especially for what they are serving.... More
What a wonderful surprise! We were walking around Casco Viejo and wanted to get dinner before going back to our apartment (for the week) and stopped in at Manolo Caracol. Wow! It is one menu only, 9 courses. Amazing! They only change the menu once a month or we would have gone back again during our one week stay in... More
A fixedd menu of 11 tapas which include salad, soup, and a desert. The plates are small, but beautifully presented (and with 11 courses, they dont need to be big). Good wine selection, open kitchen. Loved it!
We almost missed this great place....its right near the city hall, as i was told, beautiful cathedrals around, lovely..... As we entered the restaurant it looked rustic with a modern twist. We were seated we ordered wine, and we asked for the menu!??? the response we got was....."we don't offer a menu, we'll serve you whatever the chef plates for... More
Manolo Caracol offers a fixed priced selection of 7 elegantly served dishes, presented in small, Spanish tapas-style servings. Fun if you have much time and in an exploratory mood. The wine is expensive, but there is a good selection.
7. Courses all small. Presentation very nice. Rotates menu 30 days. Wine limited and expensive for small pour. Better options
My boyfriend and I stumbled in here on a Saturday night. It was pretty quiet at first (7pm) but it picked up while we were there. They have a very nice wine selection but we asked for beers instead. I only spoke a little Spanish so figuring out what we were eating was hilarious and exciting. They didn't make us... More
