This is an unusual restaurant in that it has not menu. You will have a set number of courses...I can't remember if it was 8 or 10...that are based on the chef's desire that day and what's available in the markets. All the dishes are influenced by Panamanian cuisine without being "comida typica". Dinner was served leisurely. Everything was well... More

Given the competition, this place leaves them in their "culinary dust." No, it's not NYC or SF good, but you will not be disappointed. Interesting menu, thoughtfully prepared. Very good wait-staff.

My husband and I ate at this restaurant tonight and it was a complete disaster. We let them know in advance of sitting down that I am a vegetarian and my husband eats seafood but no meat, and they assured us they could accommodate. "No problem." Well it turns out it was a problem. For both of us. We had... More

It's a 10 course meal (small plates) comprised of very creative and delicious flavours, textures and ingredients. On the night we went, the meal was weighted towards seafood and every dish was delicious. A great way to sample a wide range of local dishes.

Manolo Caracol does it a bit differently in that the menu is fixed - with something like 10 courses. The good news is that EVERY dish offered was innovative and delicious. Reservations highly recommended.

While this restaurant style certainly isn't for everyone, I thoroughly enjoyed it so much in 2007, that I made it a point to seek it out and visit again when I returned to Panama in 2014! Our meal was 9 course, with the best being the Carrot and Peanut soup with hot oil, The lobster stuffed with mussels, and the... More

This is a big restaurant close to lots of shopping in the city. The prices are great and the food is wonderful. There is outdoor and indoor seatings - we sat inside due to the humidity. The soups are great. The calamari was tasty but very chunky and different than the US. The fish was really good too...Enjoy it!

I've eaten all over the world and am rather picky, so when I say this was a great tasting meal, you can appreciate that. This was also an adventure. There was a power outage in Casco Viejo, so all of the streets and restaurants were dark. We weren't sure we should stay, but there were candles on the table and... More

I went yesterday and my experience was exactly the same as Jaya1029. Some tapas were salty, some had a flat uninteresting taste, some others were down right bad. Looks like we had the same menu and could not be more in agreement with her comments

This is a really nice restaurant with right price to have a dinner with local tradition and high gastronomic style. They serve a main course with 8 plates in sequence and the last one is the desert. The ambiance is simple, but with the local style. It is good option to have a dinner at Panama City and it is... More
