Although we made a reservation months in advance, they had to scramble to seat the 6 of us. We sat in the cramped quarters inside (perhaps we should have inquired about outside seating). Service was extremely slow. Food, when it finally came, was fairly good. Wine was awful. They served stuff that was available for $6 in grocery stores. It... More

Our week's journey began here, stumbling in by accident. Simply enjoyed a few bites & beverages but all were enjoyable in the airy and comfortable cafe.

2 starters, 2 mains and a bottle wine from the cheaper range is a 100 usd. Pricey, but we had a great night. For starter I had grilled ceviche; their recommendation. It was a large portion, but just ok in taste. My girlfriend had bruschetta with serrano ham, goat cheese and figs, quite tasty. For mains we had the 10oz... More

Wonderful restaurant. We ate ceviche all over Panama and this was the best. Also try the marinated octopus entree. The service was excellent. Eat outside and enjoy the views and atmosphere of the old city at the same time.

We made it to this restaurant after being accosted by at least 3 people trying to encourage us to eat to the larger Casa Blanca restaurant. I found that so annoying that I never ate at Casa Blanca. I had the langostino in garlic butter, there was so much lobster that I had to take some back to the hotel.... More

This was a really fun and funky restaurant in the middle of tourist-friendly Casco Viejo. They may only have 25-30 seats, so we felt fortunate to get a table. We started with the fried pork, which paired nicely with the sweet potato, and with the duck with potato soufflé. Both were excellent. We also had gnocchi in a Gorgonzola cream... More

We loved the atmosphere of sitting outside. The food was OK, nothing special. Had a nice salad with figs, a mushroom crostini and two different types of pasta. The pasta was not very flavorful. Service was attentive. Enjoyed sitting in the square and watching the people. I do love the name of the place!

Excellent meal at the Ego Y Narciso. Friendly service, best ceviche and fabulous Pulpo....almost ordered a second plate of the same dish so good it was! Will be back!

We spend one evening checking out the Casco Viejo and after reading some reviews came to Ego for dinner. My husband and I shared a few small plates and a salad. Everything was fantastic although the duck was not our favorite. Sangria by the pitcher was delicious as well.

My mom and I love a great salad and we came back twice to this restaurant located in Bolivar Plaza motivated by their well tossed greens. The first night we had an arugula salad with fresh figs, it was divine and it turned my mom into a lover of figs. We went back again the following night for that salad... More
