Good wine list , reasonably priced, and diverse tasty menu. For example, Moet and Chandon champagne priced at $95 while at L Osteria the price was $160.

. Very beautiful food here. Unusually large portions for such fine food. We shared a salad before our entrees. The salad was entree size, so the split was perfect. Vibrant, but sparse decoration. Reasonably priced. Service was gracious, but slow.

Our last night in Casco Viejo and I'm glad we went here. We all agreed best dinner of the 4 we had here. Beat Manolo by a mile, and Las Bovedas for food and atmosphere. On the Bolivar square...A busy and fun Friday evening with music all around. Well presented plates and very good service. Go!

We had a most delightful evening sitting on the plaza enjoying a selection of tapas, great wine and service. I should not have ordered the pasta which was good, but too much food as the tapas were filling.

While Ego y Narciso offers seats outside in the plaza we opted for a table inside (we preferred the A/C and weren't all that fond of the decor outside, although for many it will be a definitive "plus" to sit under the trees in Bolivar Plaza). Service was attentive and the food and wine selection offered something for everyone (there... More

Location, location, location!!! If I remember correctly it was the first restaurant in that location and picked and kept the spirit of El Casco Viejo as they wish it to be !The place is very accurate , food good ( Panama wise...) and service very good which is not a given around here. A very nice evening.

We had a very nice lunch here. We had the octopus tartar and the pulpo al olive and salad. What a great mid day break with a glass of wine. The menu was interesting and the seafood plates we tried were first rate!!! Not cheap but worth every penny

Our host recommended this restaurant, and our first visit was excellent. We shared appetizers, and while the service was slow, we were relaxed and did not care. We returned the next night for dinner and while the atmosphere was the same, both dinners were WAY over cooked. My husband's rare tuna was gray throughout and my langoustine were charred on... More

This view of old city backdrop is charming, the feeling is fishbowl as the world drives, walks by. Menu offers a great variety for all eating styles. Salads were especially a welcome sight, beautiful greens. Slow service means vacation pace, but the people watching trumps all. English menu available. Sultry weather makes lingering more that okay.

Had a wonderful seated on the pavement of this pretty square. The climate and the people around made for an excellent location. The food was good to very good and the wine selection decent (which to me means better than the average elsewhere in Panama City that I tried). Service was probably a little on the slow side but not... More
